  • October 31 marks Reformation Day, the day Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. That day marked the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. David Guzik looks at the history of that significant event and gives us insight into what true Forgiveness of sins looks like buy taking us through Ephesians 1:7-8.

Jesus said. I AM THE DOOR, HE ALSO SAID I AM THE GATE, andcIvam the way, but we know Jesus is speaking literally, of course he is not a door, or a gate, saying he is the way doesnt mean he is a sat nav, we automatically know to follow Jesus, we are not cannibals no thats a satanic act to eat flesh of a person, but he did say "do this in memory of me" so we meet and mediate on what Jesus done for us "the gift of salvation, is entirly Fods work, not how many masses you attend or confessions you make, the only thing you have todo is accept Gods gift, yes I am a sinner, yes i am sorry for my sins please forgive me, olease Jesus come and be Lord over me and my life. Thats what we must remember each time we take communion, Jesus has already paid for it all on the cross. Jesus blood be splattered on someone unintentionally and you receive salvation, is wrong, otherwise to think otherwise is saying you got it wrong Jesus you didmt need to die, you just had to put a kottle of your blood on folk and hey presto you going to heaven. Think for yourself and read Gods words in the bible

The Roman soldier Longinus was splashed with the blood of Jesus and had his eyesight restored and became a Christian and died a Christian martyr. John 6:53 “very truly unless you eat the flesh of Jesus and drink his blood, you have no life in you”. Like 22:19-20 “And then Jesus said to them this is my body and this is my blood”. He meant that literally. Look up Eucharist miracle of Buenos Aires on youtube for a recent example of a Eucharist miracle.

      John 6:27,40,63 (NASB95)
27 “Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.” 40 “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” 63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

We should not take a superstitious or mystical view of “the blood.” It was not Jesus’ physical blood that saved anyone, but His real and total payment for the sins of man in His whole person on the cross. This is what the New Testament means when it talks about “the blood.”- There, Pastor David fixed it for you
