  • In this video we show you how we mounted Garmin Live Scope inside a cooler. The customer asked for us to complete this project for him. Hope this gives you some ideas for your own live scope mobile set up!

    I rig boats like this for a living and you did a great job. I would recommend the fishing specialties mount if you’re not going to have the transducer on the trolling motor.

    What about fishing outside in the rain? Bottom on the cooler is going to load up with water

      you are 100% correct. I'm sure you can drill some holes in the bottom... the unit, battery, and black box can all get wet without being damaged.

    Velcro will hold battery and the black box

    Where did you get your shocks? Those look pretty beefy like they would hold up.

      I cannot remember where we ordered the shocks from. They are stainless tho. Cost was $50.00 for two of them.

    did you add those connections to your battery. mine is the single but i see yours comes out with a double..thanks

      @@blakerease where you hook your box and unit to the battery looks to have dual terminals on the positive and negative side. Can you hook more than one item on your positive and negative side.

      @@DLXSKIFFMITCHELL there was two or three separate grounds and yes you can hook up more than one wire to the terminals with piggy back butt connectors. would not do more than three. if you needed to do more than three, you would need a distribution block.

    Do you take the head unit off or will it close with it on?

      Head unit has to come off every time
