    I love Japanese sunscreens and loved the Anessa sun milk version rather than the gel and Biore sunscreens. As a makeup lover I find the nice matte textures and quick absorbency without stickiness in Japanese sunscreens great. I also like the Kose suncut pro defence sun mineral milk and the Allie chrono beauty UV gel, which I like under makeup.

    I really enjoyed this format! I think it shows the real wear of the sunscreen in a more realistic way. I have oily skin, and I feel like most sunscreens are for anything but that lol. I still have a long way to go with trying sunscreens, but here are a few ideas for your next video:

    My skin breaks out in a rash when I use any sunscreen with avobenzone (I’m looking at you, American sunscreens) so I love Japanese and Korean sunscreens because a lot of them use the newer-not yet approved in the US-sunscreen filters that are known to be more gentle and effective.

    I've used 4 of these five products (all but anessa) and find that i feel the same way about them. my everyday sunscreen is currently innisfree because its cost is the most affordable for the value and versatility. but i personally love biore and really don't care for supergoop or the shiseido ones. supergood i feel like never fully absorbs into my skin (i can run my fingernail gently over my skin and ill literally pick up everything ive put on 30 min earlier). shiseido has a white cast and feels drying and i feel like when i apply it my skin is being pulled

  • @MultiPropanbutan
    @MultiPropanbutan Před 2 lety

    That was fun to watch …I have only tested Biore from this list and i had burning sensation on my face…. I couldn’t use around eyes area either as it was making them watery.
    I have the Anessa actually on the way and very excited to try. I use already Shiseido expert sun protector face cream spf50 for outdoor activities …but it is still too harsh for my eyes area.
    I have mix skin although towards oily ….especially on my Tzone. But as I get older (37 this year) it becomes more dry and on top of that my skin is sensitive with redness and still keeps breaking out ….although less then it used to be.
    For summer I use invisible physical defence spf30 from Dermalogica for my eyes and Oil control sun gel dry touch spf50 from Eucerin …. I have tested probably close to 100 sunscreens over the years on my sensitive and reactive face amd one good thimg is that formulation (the way sunscreens look like on your skin) is getting better and better….it is important for me especially as I am a guy who doesn’t like to wear makeup.
    I would love to see more videos like that ….especially with sunscreens it is very informative to see how they behave through the day …you could also let us know how the skin looks like when you reapply for example in the afternoon :)

    I have the Supergoop every single face watery sunscreen SP F50, I actually bought it last Sunday and first I have to say the container is genius for on the go. I don’t mind the glow because I wear a mask and my skin really loves it. I do agree for a brief moment you smell a strong alcohol scent then it fades away. Overall I love that it’s cast free, it’s hard to find physical sunscreens that don’t leave a cast on my deep skin tone so I do mostly chemical sunscreens. I found a physical sunscreen BB cream with broad spectrum SPF50 by a brand called MD Solar Sciences called MD mineral sunscreen. I got it in the shade Dark and it is wonderful plus it has Niacinamide, CoQ10, Vitamin C and pomegranate. That’s as physical as it gets.

    yey!! finally seeing biore sunscreen in your video!! Tried lots of sunscreens but the biore watery gel one's definitely for me and i always go back to it whenever i try other sunscreens.
    The one in the video is watery essence. I tried the watery essence too but it's a little more oily for me but very good under makeup. That's more "nourishing" compared to the watery gel, but I live in the Philippines, and it's always summer here (unless rainy season), so the watery gel is a better choice atlst for me. Im combination-oily btw.

      So the innisfree one doesn’t scream drugstore but it’s only $15 so it’s pretty cheap it’s my Hg (I have sensitive/dry skin)

    Biore has a lot of denatured alcohol in it, but it has nice texture, no white cast, and water resistant. Whereas the Isntree one and Beauty of Joseon also have very nice texture and no alcohol, but not water resistant.

    I have been using the Biore UV watery essence for a while and I am a believer. I will not ever use anything else because everything else is so greasy 😝 never been so happy with a sunscreen and Yes I don't know why you would use anything else.
