    Hello guys 🤗 I am very happy to see Ksenia here because I don't know whether the Brazilian people use some phrases like "зменшувально-пестливі" in realtship to close people. I tried to train my spoken English with my little daughter and when I say something to her I want to say it very gently and I'm stucking. Oleg from Ukraine. Thanks 😊

      Hey Oleg! Thanks for your comment. You're right, English is quite limited in this regard. There are some suffixes that bare the same meaning, like -у, -let, -ie, -ling, and others as in words mommy, aunty, kitty, piggy, Betty. Tommy, cutie, duckling. Or they add words like little, dear.

    Hey guys,
    Today's lesson is informative. My concern is that understanding flashcards can be difficult because the pictures and words may not align for comprehension.

      @RealLifeEnglish1  Před 4 měsíci

      Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Do you mean current images do not always help you remember the word as it doesn't associate with it very well?

    It can be useful, but I'm asking if I will memorize these expressions.
    I presume some one of them won't be useful during my life, but it's still cool to learn them.

    • @RealLifeEnglish1
      @RealLifeEnglish1  Před 4 měsíci +1

      that's why we believe that learners should connect English to their life and learn words in context. You're right, if you don't use the words, you won't internalize them. So pick the ones you feel like you would really use and review them occasionally!
