Biblical Obedience - 100% obedience to God 100% of the time!

Deuteronomy 11:1 - Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.
John 15:14 - You are my friends if you do what I command.
John 14:15 - If you love me, keep my commands.
Genesis 22:1-19 - Abraham Tested
1 Samuel 15:22 - “And Samuel said, ‘Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.’”
Acts 5:29 - “But Peter and the apostles answered, ‘We must obey God rather than men.’”
Obedience NEEDS to be:
1. Instant - Delayed obedience is disobedience
2. Wholehearted - to completion - Whole
3. Joyful - no grumbling or complaining
Obedience = Great intimacy with God!!

How do you hear from the Holy Spirit? I’m still struggling with this.

Hey Dina, nice to hear from you! What I have found with hearing the voice of God it takes time and practise. We have the Holy Spirit living inside of us so God is so close! But its the learning to distinguish between Gods voice (Holy Spirit), our voice and the enemies. What I have practised for years now is I daily take time to wait on God and I ask God this question, "What do you want to say to me today?" No agenda. Just asking Him to speak as He wants to. As I've done this daily I have grown in confidence in hearing that still small whisper of the spirit. :D It has at times been frustrating, but as I have kept spending time with God and kept coming to Him daily. He answers. :D He is a speaking and communicating God! So keep seeking him and asking for your ears to be more and more in tune with his whisper.
