I think Pinterest is changing a lot recently and group boards may not be as powerful as they once were since they're a lot more saturated but I literally get all my traffic from them so I highly recommend! If you only post to your own board you're going to reach your small audience and maaybe show up on the main feed if you use good keywords and hashtags etc. If you do that + use group boards you'll reach way more people!
Hi! Personally I find Tailwind Tribes much more effective than Pinterest Group Boards. I grew my Pinterest monthly viewers from 0 to 700k in 3 months and I was only part of 1 group board that I barely pinned on. Hope that helps!

As for your questions, yes you can! All you need to do is log into your Instagram account on your desktop, click on the post you want to share and grab the postâs URL - thatâs the link that youâre going to pin to your Pinterest board. đ

Right now I can't seem to find any board that has the option to 'join', I only see the option to 'follow' and no other instructions on how to actually join as a contributor. I'm logged in and searched for various boards, has something changed since this video?
If there is no join button, you'll have to message the board owner by going to their profile, grabbing their username from the URL and then clicking the chat bubble icon in the top left and inputting their username! Just ask to join from there :)
