    Are those Maxxis DOT approved? I just converted my CRF to dual sport and the only DOT tires with lots of knobbies that I could find were funky Michelins and some decent Kendas. I got the Kendas.

      No they are not. Screw the law though, nobbys stick just fine. I hold legislation that limits the acceptability and increases the requirements in reference to my personal property to no regard whatsoever.
      That's why I got me a straight-piped heavy Chevy with a full smog delete and little to no DOT approved equipment on my motorcycles.
