In this video I assemble the trimmer, install a brush blade, attach the handle, and start her up for the first time. I purchased this unit from ebay to try out on the farm. The manufacturers part number is RY-B-2213. The idea was to be able to run the pole saw without having to hold a chainsaw or hold the GRM 520. It starts, runs, and destroys brush... So far so good!

Just bought one here in UK and instructions are a joke. Never had one before so your video was brilliant, saved me a rant with the supplier. Many thanks
@bluenose495 you are very welcome. Happy to help. How do you like it? I find it a bit cumbersome and difficult to store but other than that pretty cool. I love it with the pole saw attachment. It make easy work of driveway maintenance. Thank you for the kind comment. It really means a lot to me. ~Mr. C.
Yes. Bit awkward to carry for sure and doesn't sit quite right for me when in use, but it's doing the job. Price was reasonable. Regards R.
I work this exact mashine for years ... amazing workhoreses
@thomasstamatelos3322 that is great news! Thank you so much for the feedback. ~Mr. C.
I bought one of these, nothing but a headache from the start, what's missing parts the instruction sheet you couldn't read it was all blurry, trying to start this gas trimmer, question how hard do you need to pull on cord?
@Condell1986 my model has an easy start recoil so it is very easy. You pull gently and then the spring winds up. When the spring is tensioned it turns the motor over. Hope this helps. If you need more information just let me know. ~Mr. C.

Good
@cletusecho1968 so far so good. It is still running. Thanks for watching and commenting. ~Mr. C.
Please can you help my eskde starts up but the blade wont go round and its new.
@terriehyder7446 I would guess the attachment is not engaged in the collar. I will say inserting and removing attachments is a pain with this model. Is it working now? ~Mr. C.
is it still holding up good? I have my eye on one at the moment
@Shadwell yes it is still running. I have had some issues with the bracket that holds the engine to the frame. The little ears broke off and I had to weld some washers on there. Other than that everything else is good to go. I do not use it nearly as much as the straight shaft brush cutter for grass clearing. I use it more with the hedge trimmer and pole saw to keep my trails cleared of briars and low branches. Nice to have both :) ~Mr. C.
Backpack brush cutter is better or side pack ?
@malikmalik-vb2zo I thought I was going to like the backpack better but I like the traditional bicycle handle trimmers much better. I feel like so much power is lost with the flexible shaft. The shaft bounces around a lot when you get into thick brush because that part is so light without the motor being attached solid. Thanks for watching and asking. ~Mr. C.
Piece of junk! See post on Part 1
@donmilland7606 thanks for sharing. ~Mr. C.
