मुंबई कभी कोली मछुआरों और वारली जनजाति का घऱ हुआ करती थी. उन्हीं की जमीन पर इस शहर को बसाया गया. बीते सालों में अंधाधुंध विकास और प्रकृति के दोहन ने आज यहां के मूल बाशिंदों को ही खतरे में डाल दिया है. शहर का प्रशासन अब उन्हें जंगलों से बाहर निकालने की ताक में हैं. एक संगठन मुंबई के नए पुराने बाशिंदों को मिलाने की कोशिश कर रहा है.

I have visited aadivaasi house they keep it so clean I ate sabudana khichdi and had tea prepared by them it was so tasty I am longing to visit them again and have food prepared on 'chula' a mud stove

This is just the tip of iceburg....the way there is a systematic extension of Mumbai MMR border from boisar to panvel and karjat for city developmentment local people like aagri koli bhandari katkari kharvi warli....will be fully crushed....high time you decentralised urbanisation across India..... Mumbai raigad Thane and surrounding area are suffering in this concrete jungle which is a part of western ghats biodiversity hotspot as well

garvel kaa scientific naam kyaa hai? i have a gujarati book written by a marathi vaidy ... it lists garvel but does not mention many uses dinesh barap recites ... thanks to him and dw for this video that now i know where this grows ... the book (aarybhishak) mentions that this grows a lot on maahuli fort
