- Enjoy my video about the Evolution of Keeby and physical appearances in Kirby Games. Keeby is a member of the Kirby species that appears in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Course. Keeby is identical to Kirby in every way except color; Keeby is simply a yellow Kirby. Yellow Kirby, a Kirby that looks very similar to Keeby, has appeared in Kirby series main games, sub-games, and spin-offs. Though they share the same color palette, they are not confirmed to be the same character.

That ninja dojo was my favorite mini game on Return to Dreamland. It was a really good party game imo.
Fun fact: Kirby’s original color was supposed to be yellow, but they decided to make him pink and gave the yellow to keeby
Actually this isn't the case, Keeby might actually exist because Shigeru Miyamoto thought Kirby would be yellow before HAL Laboratory and Masahiro Sakurai settled on pink.
This, in my opinion, is somewhat similar to Giga Bowser, as Giga Bowser was what Sakurai imagined Bowser to be through the pixels of Shigeru Miyamotos game.
Also Keeby has officially and canonically only appeared in Kirbys Dream Course, the yellow Kirbys in the other games are a completely different character called "Yellow Kirby," this sadly contradicts this video and my headcanon.

Forgive my gushing, but seeing colored kirbies in a kirby game again is just amazing. Sure, star allies is fun, but there is such a good feeling to being able to play as the same character. Now all we need is the ability for P1 to switch to other characters.

You know it would be cool if Kirby Right Back At Ya just added Keeby and now I wonder how Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Escargoon would react when they see Keeby? Cause I’m pretty sure Kirby and Keeby would get along since they’re both puffballs and also so Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe looks pretty good I cannot wait to get it when it comes out but here’s the question why did Nintendo use the Forgotten Land King Dedede instead of the old King Dedede from the old Kirby’s Return to Dreamland like that doesn’t make any sense?

I think him and Kirby could have been rivals, just like in Dream Course. And Dedede would likely lose his mind upon seeing another Kirby XDD
Real fun fact: Kirby was first supposed to be yellow and named Popopo, his name was supposed to be called Twinkle popo also.
But then nintendo decided to to name him kirby aka the last name of one of the workers on the game and made him pink.
But the Popo plan was a good idea so they renamed him to keeby and made him the second player in kirby

I can't wait for Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe for Nintendo Switch in 2023. It's been 12 years since Kirby's Return to Dreamland for Nintendo Wii in 2011. 2011+12=2023.
