    Quite surprising really at least for me. His defense seems to be based mostly on his feet and I expected Fulton being a decent combination puncher with skills and range to be able to put it on him and catch him going backward. Or being a bigger guy who has fought on the inside to make it an inside fight if needed.
    His feet were amazing, perfectly measuring distance. Apparently he also has enough power at 122 since Fulton did not want to stay inside and trade

    It's been kinda weird to see everyone try and discredit Inoue as he's been working through everyone. It's kinda like One-Punch Man, they can't process that this dude is just taking people apart as easily as he is, so they gotta make something else up.
    First off it was that he was only going to work that power at the low ranks. Then it was that he didn't move his head enough. Fulton was riding the narrative in this fight of Inoue not being enough of a boxer, he's just a flamboyant knockout artist who hasn't had to face a skilled boxer. If I'm not mistaken, Fulton was supposed to be the highest-volume puncher in the sport. Inoue threw more punches than he did, and it wasn't even close.

    The Payano bout should have put paid to any question of Inoue's boxing IQ. Over a single round he patiently baited Payano into a specific reaction then put his lights out with a 1-2 combination.

    The exchanges of glances between them was so interesting. At the "touch gloves" stage, Fulton arrogantly ignored Inoue and turned away. After that, Inoue's eyes were boring into Fulton the whole way, sometimes nodding his head as if to say to Fulton, "Yeah, this is real," meanwhile, how many viewers have commented on how Fulton looked scared knowing there was not a thing he could do.

    I can see Inoue being a better fighter than Pacquiao for one reason: POWER!! Pacquaio punch is not that powerful and that's why he needs a lot of combinations and he's very good at it because of his speed and footwork. But Inoue has speed and footwork too. Also, sometimes when I watch Pacquiao fight and I am like why didn't he try to finish him when he landed a good hit. So, this is also the difference between Inoue and Pacquiao as well....Inoue killer instinct is just way better than Pacquiao...as soon as he smell blood, he's going after it. I feel Pacquiao doesn't quite have that same killer mentality.

The guy beat the count, in round 6 but then walked away and quit. His entire body was busted. I see a lot of people talking who just wasn't watching his fights. Inoue can fight south paw too, if the fight calls for it.

The Nightmare is slower and will surely be a huge underdog, but it only takes one punch to change the narrative of a fight.

    • @imightbebiased9311
      @imightbebiased9311 Před 10 měsíci

      He's shorter, but he has longer reach. I think that's throwing guys off. Fulton's 2 inches taller than Inoue, but Inoue's got an extra inch of reach on Fulton. Just too many things that guys can't process until they get in the ring, and then once they do, Inoue doesn't give them time to figure anything out.
      Edit: Further searching has shown that I got my info from a disreputable source! Please disregard.
