    My application is a control surface for a UAM that of course will undergo hinge moment due to aerodynamic force. How can I model that additional Torque on this? I am using the Arm application. Thank you!

    What is meant by Safety Factor when sizing motor?

    • @IntroMech562
      @IntroMech562  Před rokem

      @Khaled If there is sudden addition of some load on the system then the motor should also take that extra load. hence safety factor is important while selecting a motor, but it should be selected as per the criticality of the process, or it will end up in selecting an oversize motor.

    I'm sizing a motor for a roller application, how do I size it

      you can find out the torque required first and then from speed you can check how much power is required for your application. also you can check for some similar application in motorizing tool and enter the required values. you can get the outputs , use these outputs for motor sizing.

      Is motor will be select by required torque (1.6nm) or load torque (0.6nm)? Which is correct?

    • @IntroMech562
      @IntroMech562  Před 2 lety +2

      @@dileepsingh9874 Required Torque should be considered because it take into account factor of safety also.

    Is this is app or a software??

      This is neither a app that you can install nor a software that you can download. You can simply call it a freely available online tool in form of website!!!
