Fun fact, around the time of those myths, Lions still wandered to lands of Europe, that's why most of the countries bear the Lion as a symbol, due to it being feared and respected.
The Nemean lion leaping from top inside it's cave looked similar to the Hercules 2014 film.
Hercules fought like a gladiator, and exterminated the animal.

I wonder if they will include Karkinos in that video. Karkinos was a giant crab sent by Hera to aid the Lernean hydra and tried to cripple Hercules by biting his leg. Hercules crushed the beast beneath his great foot and later Hera rewarded Karkinos' sacrifice by placing it among the stars as the constellation Cancer. 🦀
It seems the most famous of the Twelve Labors is the first one "Slay the Nemean Lion." Most people can get 2 or 3 of them but this labor is the only one that stands out.
Slay the lion, slay the Hydra and capture Cerberus.

Perhaps Saber tooth/Smiledon/Cave Lion before The Famous Land bridge melted away The American Lion and African Lion often traveled back and forward between Land Masses.
To Me Possible Neman Lion Cave Lion or Saber Tooth remember the word Saber tooth is slightly New, the old world probably considered to Be Lion's.
Since evidence suggest that Saber tooth cat's Hide's in South America were Stripped they may have been considered Tiger's I mean just saying.

Two things 1. Some of the pronunciation is off. 2. Is this Heracles or Hercules ?.
Herakles and Hercules are the same deity. The Romans even worshipped Hercules with Greek style rites in acknowledgement of the fact that He is from Greece. Are there local aspects of Hercules in Rome that aren't true of Herakles in Greece? Sometimes but that's actually true of any deity. Polytheistic religions tend to focus on localization a lot more than people think
