Does it have to be prior to smashing the window for the script to run? On my end a red car shows up on the map and I cant do anything.

if you want to take the cars in the dealer just drive them out of the corner window that Micheal made franklin smash through and he wont come after you, funny enough if you drive back through the window and out the back he'll get you.
