Since time immemorial villages in India have portrayed a complete, purposeful lifestyle, that’s in tune with divine nature. Being inspired by villages for the last 20 years and based on the foundational principle of spirituality, Mr. Rahul V. Deshpande constructed his home in an urban area, blending the modern with traditional.
This is a short film on how a family is contributing through daily lifestyle at home and through home towards a clean Nation while caring for Mother Earth. The soul of this film is - Reduced, Reused, Recycled & Rejoicing.
This film is a humble attempt to inform/ inspire viewers to move a small step closer to nature AND IN NO WAY TO MAKE A VISIT to the house.

This is what India really needs at the moment. Going back to its roots instead of westernising themselves. There is so much wisdom in traditional Indian practices that one cannot think of. I am in awe of our inheritance and culture. Just wish that everyone could realise its importance.🙏🏻

@@meditateworld1997 yes, if you go exact geographically it is 100% in western India. But in terms of the broad classification, i.e south and north, It totally is a part of southern India. And read my former comment again please? I said the more we go south the more purity of culture is seen till this date. North India have gone through alot because of which its culture is mixed and not at all how it once used to be. Even maharashtra's culture isn't that pure compared to extreme southern region, because we have gone through a lot too. But when you compare them with us, you will see our culture matches on various aspects. I like studying culture, and it was my observation. Especially the kokan side of maharashtra is a lot more similar to that of extreme southern region.

I'm living in this house in kerala.. although we have tiled roof and mud floor, we are fed up of rats digging up our floors and living between spaces of tiled roofs and its frames. You cannot actually see a smooth corner in ceiling so you have to dust every day as spiders create webs. This is perfect and simple in the begining but the cleaning process will make you exhausted

It's beautiful 👌. We have had our home in the Kokan region for the last 50 years & I just love my home that way only. Now most people in Konkan region build a modern home, they don't understand what they are losing. We are going to reconstruct our home soon & definitely like to build again eco friendly with new layout and new requirements.

You want to know why?...Zero percent usage of factory made materials (as Mr Rahul Deshpande puts it) all over India could results in a huge economic collapse due to closures of such factories. Millions will become unemployed. We should not appreciate such eco-friendly plans by completely overlooking the economic consequences.

We live in a small city and we are constructing our new house in a nearby village and we have decided to use mud plaster ,mud tiles and wooden floor for our house . I was looking for some ideas about the interior and stuff and found this video, the idea of producing bio gas is totally amazing , i will ask my parents to install the required infrastructure and tools for biogas production from kitchen waste👍🏻

My Grandparents home is just like this one but they are no more and just by chance came upon this video it brought back my childhood memories at my grandparents home in a village. It was homely, beautiful house! We enjoyed our childhood days in such a healthy natural environment close to nature
