  • Although this impromptu day trip with a few of my boys resulted in a wrecked wheelchair, multiple broken bones, and other significant injuries, it also provided me with a wealth of amazing memories that will last a lifetime!
Unfortunately, I'm in so much trouble with my usually ever-patient and always-understanding wife that my lifetime might not last nearly as long as I would have expected.
The only thing saving me from yet another long and lonely stay in the doghouse is the fact that my back is currently so wrecked and I'm in so much pain from my multiple boo-boos and owwies that per doctor's orders, I'm not allowed to leave my bed and I'm being forced to remain flat on my back for the next few days.
Of course... to me, those are just more rules to be broken and expectations to be squashed... so with episode 104 of my ongoing Handicapable Adventures series in the books, standby for my next episode, to be released within days!

You are such an inspiration! It's incredible how much you do despite your medical and physical limitations!

@robinmontgomery...why is he such an inspiration? He's just going fishing and hiking? How is that incredible? As a C4-C6 quadriplegic and a right hip and leg amputee...I find doing things you do to get things done, a different way to achieve the same thing you would do. Hearing (or reading) anyone say 'you are such an inspiration' a tad bit insulting.

I have to admit...I don't watch 3/4 of your videos because of the motion sickness thing. Can you mount your camera so it doesn't bob with the up and down motions of the chair?

Yes, the head-bob thing is/was a major problem, but I ordered and just received a chest mount for my camera to resolve the issue.
