I love this tutorial! I've seen patterns for doing a mesh stitch and they aren't always easy to understand. This explains it so well, thank you. I agree with the others as I would love to see the one on the heart and diamond ones.
Lovely shawl for the warmer weather coming. So fun and easy, as you said, to create your own design with graph paper, which I have done. I start my knit shawls with a garter tab, knitting top down. I appreciate your going a step beyond to make sure we understand your projects. 👍🏻

I wanted to add that I've started my shawl, and I can't be more excited about this. I'm using Red Heart's 'Medium Thyme' shade. It's one of my favorite colors, and am planning to wear the shawl to my 40th high school reunion this June. Assuming the weather isn't too warm for it. I'll post pictures on the facebook page when I've completed it.

Hey there, I'm starting this one today with comfy cotton and I'm thinking about making it big enough to meet in front and use icords to secure closed and make it a poncho. Love the filet and the idea to use yarn instead of thread like I usually do with filet work.
Please do the step by step tutorials for the hearts and diamonds. If you can do crosses that would be awesome too. I want to make prayers shawls from these tutorials. Love your work and tutorials 👍

I love your patters, for your shawls. I do find this style, where its deaper than wider hard to wear as it doesn't go round the neck and it also slips off, so I'll adapt this if I can to try and make it shorter but wider 👍😊💕

I would enjoy a thorough tutorial on the different shapes in the filet. I have a hard time with getting the spacing and not getting the space so overfilled that the design does not show appropriately. I love your tutorials and I love to listen to you talk. I have started just the filet in Unforgettable yarn as a prayer shawl for a lady at church that is going through a trying time. Thank you. I love the light weight pattern as it gets hot here in Alabama.
