- First day in Monaco and look whom I met on training - EGAN BERNAL!
It was really a pleasure to ride with him, and really cool that he showed me new roads in this area. His form is on high level, looks like his finally in old shape after nasty crash in 2022. So I can only wish him good luck in this season. @INEOSGrenadiers should proud of having such a good rider in their team!

This just proves Egan Bernal is the most likeable guy in the peloton.
Can‘t help but always root for him.
I saw another vid like 2 days ago of Bernal stopping to chat with a different person who also chased him up a climb during his training. Seems like he’s much more friendly than the likes of Evenepoel when he’s training
Pogacar is a likable guy but I would really like to see Egan get another Tour win. I hope he is ready.

He broke his femur, knee cap and spine in the accident, he already made a tremendous recovery but no one comes back 100% from such an injury.

Egan looks smooth. I saw the HR go to 180, heard the tires squeak as you wrestled the bike, shifting gears trying to find something better, the labored breathing.

Thanks for uploading! I did Madone last year and absolutely loved it, what an epic climb and then descent back around. I remembered every section of it like it was yesterday watching this clip 😁

What a beautiful descent. I like those wood guard rails. You really don't see that often anymore, as everything is steel and concrete nowadays.
I agree, they look nice and I really can't recall in my memory other climbs with same wooden guard

Ive ridden with Egan a few hill rides. Dude is super chill and good ambassador for cycling. 1000%.
Get a lighter bike brother. Rim brake tarmac with some shallow section wheels and turbo cotton tires. You will keep up even longer.
I have 2 rim brake bikes, but they are not with me in France 🥲

For me all the monsters are likeable. Pogacar nice guy, Vingegaard seems also a good guy, MVDP detto and here is Bernal who is suffering now to be on the top and I really wish to him get there.
good job sticking with Bernal. It'd be interesting to know what his numbers were (of course). Nice to ride without a saddle bag too. What was all that in his jersey pockets? We'll never know.

Hey Cameron 👋. I use GarminVirb Edit, and custom made layouts for data, but for last few months this app doesn't work well - hard to sync video with data

very smart to stand up and move the body to the side when going over wet patches, good way to stay warm/avoid getting sick
I am pretty sure that doing 500 series on a climb will keep you warm no matter what

The sampling frequency of the power data is crazy high, which device created it - Shimano power meter presumably but how did it get into the video feed?
You can check my strava activity, link in description. Everything is ok with powermeter, thats a video overlay software causing this kind of frequency

@@artem4ik19 But they are lighter and more aerodynamic! Maybe you could have stuck with it on the mountain. Unfortunately, there are few frames with rim brakes.

@@artem4ik19 крутые ролики, особенно приятно ощущать себя там, если слышен шум ветра, покрышек об асфальт и переключение - то можно даже не смотреть, сразу понятно что происходит и оказываешься там.

I was able to sit 8min on his wheel, while he was doing 35min interval. That's a difference)
Nevertheless you are in great shape @Artem. Don't make yourself small - those are better numbers than the ones of 99% 😊
