By any chance, is there a cheap fix for the aux input by now? Would love to include vinyl without buying a full extra mixer, so wondered whether there is something like the tool you showed for the booth output? Thanks!

Great video man. Have the XDJ XZ and RR and I'll explain why I chose the RR over second hand RX1. The RR definitely doesn't have anywhere near the bells and whistles of the RX, and certainly feels cheaper (as it is if buying new) but for mobile sets I'd much prefer using this over the RX, particularly second hand and one that is over its warranty. Firstly, it's lighter, smaller (easier to carry) if doing mobile sets you have a few FX and that's OK as realistically, when do you go "James Hype" mode when performing mobile gigs (honestly now 😅👍) and sound quality actually sounds slightly better overall than the RX1, at least from my personal testing. So yeah, more mobile, much cheaper if purchasing both units new, or, even comparing to second hand RX and slightly better sound. Good buy, but yeah, just to be clear, if I didn't need it for mobile gigs I'd purchase an RX 1 / 2 or 3 if not already having an XZ, which is a beast! 😁

Really hoping I like this controller 😭 It’s too late already bought it and on its way.. Just honestly wanted something for mobile gigs that was stand alone. Too many issues with my Mac in recent years to justify using it full time at a gig.

  • @DirtyDiezel

Just bought one of these used to use as my travel gear, MY DDJ-RZX IS JUST WAY TOO HUGE! I have also owned the XDJ_RX and really liked the clicky hot cue buttons better then the XDJ-RX2. No need for a booth out if your plugging into the club mixer anyway it has a booth already. But I do have a volume controller that can be hooked up to the unbalanced rca if needed for gigs without a mixer provided. I also dont need a touchscreen search as I set up playlists that are in order of my set so its easy to find the next track, no reaL search needed unless your a fly by the seat of your pants dj lol

So i’m thinking between the XDJ RR and a XDJ RX 1 (used). Right now still playing on a ddj400 but want to go for a stand alone. The XDJ RX 2 is just to expensive for me, my budget is €1000. What do you think is the best? I’m playing at house party’s for fun and have 2.1 active full range speaker system. Thanks

I have the DDJ-SB3, I love it and an "old" Lenovo with i3 CPU upgraded to 8 GB RAM with Win 10 and no glitches nor instability .
