In 2024 Austin was a Redshirt Freshman who appeared in 10 games, .222 BA 2 HR’s, 4 Hits, and 5 walks. In his 18 at bats he struck out 7 times

I think Reuter may start at catcher and use smithwick in right. Just my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I hope Campbell steps up and becomes the catcher we know he can be.

All the catchers got things to work and improve on but it’s possible Reuter could be the starter. Like the 3 OF transfers we got so far and feel like each of those 3 should do better than Smithwick in the outfield. Like this past season I do believe each of the catchers will fight for playing time and battle it out in the fall and throughout the season. Believe you will see each start some.
Think it’s possible you will see some of the catchers, Judd and maybe a couple more even compete for the DH position
