    Solly, I agree wholeheartedly with your and the DA's principle. However, could you
    not have gone to the courts to force the ANC to accept proportional representivity
    in Gauteng as per the constitution? Sadly, I think you may have shot yourselves in
    the feet by not staying in the Gauteng government whilst fighting the ANC in in the
    courts. Witnessing the goings on of the Gauteng Government from the inside is so
    much more effective than from the outside. You have, unfortunately, checkmated
    yourselves.

    • @user-md5ux8cj5w
      @user-md5ux8cj5w Před 19 hodinami

      Going to court was not gonna work in their favour because in KZN, DA did not use the proportional approach. They also did not consider the Will of the people, that they seem to care about now. In KZN, MKP got 45%, which means the voters in that province want MKP to lead the province but these hypocrites decided to disrespect the will of the voters. But now when tables are turned they want to use the will of the people approach as though they care about about the people, which is not true. Politicians are all the same irrespective of the colour of their skin.

      @user-md5ux8cj5w Před 17 hodinami

      @@RashidLanie8 Thank you Sir, for being so honest. I respect your views and maths. So, that we clear, I also understood that the MK party was outnumbered by those four parties who came together to work against MK party, but my point was in reply to what DA, particularly Ms. Hellen Zille was saying in Gauteng, when the ANC did not give them what they wanted in that Cabinet. Her argument was that the ANC does not respect the will of the people, because people voted for them in Gauteng, therefore, they need to respect the Will of the people, by including them in the cabinet. That is what made think DA is being honest because in KZN, the will of the voters was not respected by the DA. But I do understand your point and I got it. At the end of the day, this is politics, politicians don't really care about the people on the ground.

      Let us see if these real men can turn Gauteng around. They broke it down, so do you think they can turn it around for the people of South Africa? Let’s measure their strength. Up until now, their strength has been in their pockets, gifted to themselves from the taxpayers’ money.

      @halalisanimaphumulo9206 as a whole. Everyone wants to tell a bad story about the poor areas, and no one is doing anything there. If the DA had enough money to do everything at once, it would be done. Go and have a look at the videos of what they have already done in the poor areas. Remember, the ANC government gave them a budget, and you can only do so much with that budget. In my area, which you call the so-called rich area, we help the DA. We pick up and clean up by organizing groups. It's time to join hands, work together, stop criticizing and crying. Let's get up and work. In the so-called rich area, there are also houses where sewage is coming up. There are also potholes in our roads, but systematically, they are being fixed. Patience is a virtue. Rome was not built in a day, and neither was a country like South Africa that has been broken down and brought to its knees for the last 30 years. The blame for this lies squarely on the shoulders of the ANC.
