I didn't have album "A Day At The Races" when it came out, so I didn't really know this song until recently. Not sure how I could have overlooked such a gem. Here's my version. Hope you like it.

Months later I still can't stop coming back to it. I hope Brian May gets a chance to see this at some point. I'm sure he would be very proud.
This may sound a bit blasmerous so please forgive here, and with ALL DUE RESPECT, but I "kinda" feel as though Brian couldn't play this like this gentleman just did. Not that he could never play it. That's why I said that I "kinda" feel that he would probably have a pickle of a time when attempting to. Then again, it would take ME AT LEAST 2.75 eternalties to sit down and ATTEMPT to play the very first note. It is brilliant - Freddie was brilliant. I'd even go as far as putting him in the very same category as a Mozart (of our time).. ❤
I don't think this was ever conceived to be played on guitar. It's clearly a Mercury piano thing. Having said that, this version is gorgeous and amazing.

Answer ; On the 5th Queen Album ,,A Day at The Races,, released in the winter 1976, Queen scored a Bigg Hit-Single again, after Bohemiam Rhapsody from the 4th Album ,,A Night at The Opera,, The 5th Album gave us the MasterPiece ,, Somebody to Love,, My answer is 5 years late....So I guess You might have found out about this all in the meanwhile... As a rocker I used to skip this song while playing this vinyl, only years later I could get the greatness of this masterpiece and since then it's still one of my favourite Queen's song. Your interpretation is just wonderful, bravo!

Ah, that's one of my favorite Queen (Mercury´s) tunes! Actually, I tried to do a guitar arrangement for this some years ago. In the end I´m glad I didn´t because I couldn´t have done it nearly as good as yours. Formidable care for details, as usual. Thanks for sharing it, Tony!
