These are beautiful. They are very reminiscent of jars that my Grandmother would keep in her kitchen cabinets for only special things. She kept loose change in one and when I would come and stay with her she always had me check her special jar. We would go to the five and dime store and pick out paper dolls with the money. Lovely memories from a beautiful jar.

so close in details except mine was for the penny candy store. we would get these little brown bags cram packed full of shoe lace licorice. basically a penny a piece. the licorice was a penny a foot. ( 1972 )

Very nice. I use to decorate jars as well. I used Kilz primer first. Instead of kitchen towel twirls I used a slim pour hot glue gun to make those designs.
