I know most people don't like Civic's, but you've got to admit... that's a SERIOUSLY FAST Civic!

I have a fk8 model.. only race car in this category. And the look is amazing compare with others concurrents... and it.s a very convenient car ang very polyvalent!
Specially when the vtec kicks in it goes to 272kmh no other fwd goes as fast as honda the engine is a totally different beast more than renault's per example
Incredible driving, no crazy risk taking just excellent eye - dealing with inexperienced drivers when overtaking them is probably the most challenging. Fantastic.

People complain about some nonsense stuff sometimes. "Meemeeemee! Sounds like a hairdryer! Meemeemee!" The effing hairdryer took the Flughplatz at 180km/h with FWD, for crying out loud! I wish I had a hairdryer like that.

Doesn't sound like a hair dryer. Mine sounds better with age, stock. People waste thousands on fatty exhausts. Sounds best stock....

You don't realise how quick these thing are until you drive one, once you get traction it's like a bullet.
Do you think Honda underrated the actual hp from factory? I have one and it seriosly feels like more than 306hp.
@@cybercityoedo808 It's like 306 hp at the wheels. Assuming the drivetrain is 90% efficient, the engine should have around 340 hp at the crank.

well done, if I were anywhere near there I would have taken my Type R as well, it's a perfect car for this situation! I've taken mine to my local tracks, it's always a lot of fun.
I'm like 3 hrs away from Nurburgring. I'd go there but with a rented car :p Not worth putting my personal car in jeopardy.

Great Lap, brilliant drive. You dont have worry about your Car ? Some traffic is dangerous, specially overtaking. The wheels are very good and have a lot of Grip. I have a Type R FK8 and this is my dreamcar and the best hot hatch of the World.

The turn-in capability is so sharp, planted, and responsive, it's insane. If any manufacturer mastered the Front-wheel drivetrain, it's Honda.

Being a Honda owner myself I've owned a few fast Hondas including two DC5's, one of which I still have. This Civic is a seriously impressive machine, doesn't sound great but fuck me it doesn't half handle; the FK8 would destroy my Integra with some ease. That was some of the best driving I've ever seen too btw. So smooth and not aggressive either, impressive stuff!

It's easy to push a fwd like the Civic, pushing a rwd with rear engine like the Porsche it's not for everyone, it's required much more feel and experience to keep that tail on track and be fast at the same time with the Porsche...
