Now a little over a decade later I’m giving myself a refresher so I can teach my little sister all of this and be that guide I wish I had!
This is nice to see, a lot of mothers don’t care to properly teach their kids about hygiene, they just yell at them for stinking and being dirty 🙄🙄 I use that same Vaseline she got, the green one, smells so BOMB!! Lyric is so beautiful and sweet, I can tell she’s a good girl 🥰🥰 thanks for sharing
My mom was the exact way. She used to have the whole family laughing at me cause I would stink. I had to teach myself everything, now she complains I smell too good and wonders if I'm looking for a man🤦🏽♀️
yeah my mom was the same way of yelling at me for being stinky (i didnt know any better, but it still wasnt good to yell at a kid like that) she would show me in her hateful way of what to get for hygiene so now i feel horrible of anything i choose that i think smells good. im glad lyric has a wonderful and understanding mom . i use the secret sweet nectarine, bodycology island beach paradise, and softsoap coconut butter scrub, also the aussie avacado oil with jojoba oil conditioner, and suave tropical coconut for the shampoo.
@@pinkpastelhearts my extremely deep apologize for feeling that way , i hope your okay now 😊💞 Kinda personal but here is small tips : 1- try to clean behind ears and behind neck and back and bellybutton and foot and armpits and allover the body after washing the hair to prevent acne 2 - before getting out of the shower , use cetaphil bar soap and warm water for down there (after the shower,use cetaphil baby soothing cream on the outside area) , also use the bar soap before using the body wash to feel more fresher 3 - don't care about what the others think about you , focus on yourself 4 - tide original laundry detergent and downy cool cotton fabric softener and in wash scent booster are really good , also mix bar cloud musk perfume smell good 5 - dove advanced care 0% aluminium cucumber green tea deodorant stick is better then secret (cuz aluminium can cause breast cancer) 6 - colgate max fresh & Listerine cool mint mouthwash are really good I hope it's helpful

It is extremely important to instill in young ladies (such as Lyric) the importance of self-care and self-love and what better way to do that than to go on a shopping excursion at your local store for great pick-ups for that. I am surprised y'all didn't buy any Nivea products -- their products are da bomb too! I personally love Dove --- like what's not to the love. Olay is great too -- but I it's very nice to see the mother/daughter dynamic between you two and the great lessons you are instilling in your daughter at an early age. I’m the same way!! If she gets anything from Dove her next run, she has to try the green cucumber one you pointed at, and the pomegranate one with the darker pink cap. Those are a must!! Idk if she does this either but the purple baby lotion at night and the pink baby oil?? Bomb.
If you plan to use natural deodorant you must first detox under your arms by exfoliating all the dry skin and old deodorant. The best way to do this is with epsom salt, I like to use Dr Teals Himilayan salt but any scrub will do the trick or you can buy the Pacifica underarm detox. It works really well and then start applying your natural deodorant or essential oils of choice.
HIGHLY recommend the OGX brand Moroccan oil lotion. Its a big bottle for about $9 target online. It lasts forever and it smells so good think bath and body works lotions but for the whole body. Very thick a little goes a long way. It leaves a matte finish on your skin not oily. Smells so good you can go without perfume!!! Your daughter will love it!
Ivory. Original or fresh water Dove spray on deodorant. The pomegranate or cucumber. Razor- I use Walmart equate brand. It’s a hand with refill blades and the blades be $6 for 4/5, love. Also following up with witch hazel after savings 😘the best baby oil gel in the summer , coco butter lotion with Shea in the winter

You and your family should think about trying Dr. Bronner's. It's chemical free a multi-use. I even wash my hair with it. This is the very best that I've come across, and can't see myself ever using anything else consistently. Other body wash have many chemicals and synthetics. You won't regret it and it cleans your skin deeper than the other brands even dove & olay.
I thought i wouldn’t like it but they ran out of my normal bodywash so I ended up getting suave milk and honey and i thought i wouldnt like it but the smell is amazing

THANK YOU!!!!! I wanted to have babies, but I couldn't. God had another plan for me as a Mother. When I married my husband, the biggest commitment I made was to my new daughter. She was nearly five when her mother went to heaven, and although I never was able to meet her, I believe that she has been on my shoulder helping me raise our girl for the last six years.
But I need help and advice. Her mother's family is supportive of me, but I always feel like I am being watched because I have been given such a heavy responsibility.
