I liked this video. One thing you said was "using RGB is hard", but I'd like to point out that basically all art programs mimic CYM (the inverse of RGB) which means it would work similar to paint mixing (where cyan + yellow = green, yellow + magenta = red, etc)
I feel it's much easier to think of colors using CYM than RGB, and both are correct. You did technically add red (as in you got closer to red) but you also added yellow to that greenish hue. Both are right.
Yeah saying I don't understand what adding red to a color does is a bit of an exaggeration. However I do find it easier to use HSV, but if you like CYM then go at it!
i learned about how the saturation should change differently based on hue from this video, so thank you! :)
I'm proud to say I contributed to your joy in your workplace by one singuler number
Did you make those saturation/value graphs for those hues at 1:43? if not, where can I access them? (i am too lazy to make my own)
No! It is from a really good article at pixelparmesan.com/color-theory-for-pixel-artists-its-all-relative/ I had the reference in the video but it must have got deleted when I was editing. I feel bad too because they are really good graphs!
The hue saturation graphs are from

It is a really good read and I recommend you all check their article out.
My reference must have gotten deleted on accident :(
