This guy has the most amazing voice that I have ever heard awesome
+Anthony Williams It is not his voice. That seems to be a common misconception in music. Music is an art, many people can imitate it, but the true artist is the one that pours their soul into it. So, it is not his voice but his heart and soul that sounds amazing.
I wish songs at church were sung like this. How many services have you gone to that gave you goosebumps when you hear the music; or that weird butterfly like feeling in your heart. No one sings with passion in the service, and if some do, they are drowned out by those that imitate the art.
Pastors need to take a break from the Bible and talk about the songs and hymns that we sing. How many of us know what they mean and how many of us feel it in our hearts?

What an honour and privilege to listen to these guys. But also what an honour and privilege these guys have to work with each other (ALL phenomenal in their own rights) and with the blessed working relationship with Bill Gaither. This is such a hauntingly beautiful song, true to the core in every word, and sung by the only one who could do it justice, I swear (Thank you, David!!!). But then there are two in the background, Wes and Michael. No less amazing as soloists, singing perfect harmonies in accompaniment (as only they could), Mark looking on in rapt attention and humbly giving others the forefront, and Bill smiling - not just as a worshiper, but as a proud "parent". In all it's iterations and configurations and members and years, this vocal band has only shown the highest of quality. All for Jesus, nothing but the best. Thank you, all of you, for years of amazing worship, amazing songs, amazing renditions, amazing voices, amazing showmanship, amazing technicality, and the amazing devotion to Jesus that shows through each and every performance. Another thing about this whole new album--it has a freshness about it that makes it difficult to believe these guys have been together so long. Bill Gaither just keeps on plowing forward into new territory. In my opinion, he's one of the most gifted people the music industry has ever seen.

I love the fact that this song sounds so different coming from David and then from the woman that wrote it. Mindy Smith’s version sounds like a mother ready to protect her children. David’s sounds like a dad comforting his children.

IMO, because it is a gift from OUR HEAVENLY FATHER given through a blessed group...song writer, musicians, arrangers, sound equipment techs, too many involved to list. So, what you ears hear and your heart feels as you listen,...that is a gift from your HOLY SPIRIT and David's voice to you!❤️🎶
