Hi guys. I have just bought the same set of LED Lights because they looked so great on Liam's Landy. Could you please clarify the connections that Nisse made when wiring up the Halo part of the Headlights. Did you say that you had connected the red wire labelled Car Battery Vcc+ and the black wire labelled Car Battery GRND to the vehicles Position Lighting? If this is so, what is the Position Lighting? Your help would be most appreciated as I am struggling to find a suitable switched ignition live to connect to under the bonnet of my 2015 Puma Defender. Keep the videos coming they are excellent!!

I have defender 90 2005
Today I fit new Led head light .
One small problem that in first swich(click 1) and Secound(click2) high beam on.
I know some Landrover made some defenders with swich low light when you change for the Secound swich becomes brighter.
Led read low and hight same.
How we can solve the problem please?
I hate to be negative but i've got the truck lite LEDs and they suffer in snowy conditions, do these have a heating matrix built in?
Looking great lads! The plastic headlamp bowls were only on Series, and earlier coil sprung models. But since you had them was a good idea to fit anyway as they help keep some of the crud out of the connectors etc.
You ought to do a shot of the headlights in the dark from the drivers perspective in one of your vlogs, so you can give your opinion on the brightness, spread etc. I personally haven't been impressed by any so far compared to upgraded Crystal halogens, as I don't like the 'cut off' beam pattern/spread on low beam, but I do like the fact you have the low beam on still when you switch to high... fills in that void at the front nicely.
Thanks! Admittedly, a showcase of the lights in the dark should have been included, but we'll likely put that into another video at some point as you mentioned.

Can they light up god at nighttime.. installed some led lights last year, and they were pretty shitty at night. How are these, cause they look great.

I am so pumped to get going with the mods and off roading, maybe even a storm tune ( as it is a td5!) as well as Tirsbaek MudFlaps! This has been a 17 yr wait and I have to thank your channel for getting me to love landys even more! I hope to see you at LRO (and goodwood?) this year!! 😃

Anyone know how too adjust the lights so they point down more ?
There are adjustment screws around the headlamp bezel for changing the angle of the lights.
At the LRO show, who supplied you with the Halo LED headlights please. I'm searching for a pair at the mo'. Cheers

If anyone's watching this now, the LED Halo Headlights in this bundle are not Wipac branded and they are now no longer UK road legal

What’s the chassis like on the td5
It is good, we normaly coat them all, every 2th summer with a greasy oil type of chassis paint, which keeps the rust at bay. There are surface rust, but not even close to holes :)

I don’t want to sound a prick but the drl should switch off when side lights are on
It's wired in as an 'extra' sidelight function rather than a DRL function, otherwise you need an additional DRL controller if you want to use them that way
What I was thinking.... Look good though, but easy to hook them as a proper drl.

Mud like that is just from driving around the roads here, we live in an area of woodland with dirt roads that get muddy this time of year. I'd have to wash it every time I got home to keep that off.
get that rust fixed ( at the indicator ect)its abhorrent. remember you can't buy a new one thats what i do ;)
