HAPPY MINHYUK DAY 2021

On December 16th 2018, I watched my first ever Monsta X video: The shouting in silence segment on their appearance on Fan Heart Attack Idol TV. In that video, the moment the adorable blonde boy with the beautiful smile showing the prompts ended up laughing so hard he literally COLLAPSED on the floor, I knew I liked him. Little did I know that day I found my missing Puzzle Piece.
Minhyuk, you (and Monsta X) have been one of the best parts of my life for almost 3 years. I just graduated college around the time you came into my life, and your very existence has gotten me through a lot of hard times of stress, sadness, and uncertainty. Whenever I need a pick me up, or if I'm simply feeling bored, you're one of the first things I think about to help myself feel better. I listen to your magical singing, watch your breathtaking dancing, or watch one of many entertaining variety and radio shows you have either been the guest of or hosted; to help me forget the hardships of my life exist. All that matters in those moments is you; and the way you make me feel. People may say it's foolish to have my happiness rely so heavily on someone who doesn't even know me, but I just tell myself that those people haven't found something in their lives to make them truly happy.
Thank you, my sunshine, for everything you do to make MONBEBE smile and feel loved. Today, too, I love you more than anything in the world, and I hope that won't change for the next 365 days when I plan to celebrate your life again.
