Who else stumbled in here thanks to Pete? Somebody say Frog Legs! My summers were spent filling freezer with frog legs a few at a time. Bullfrogs from our pond up in the mountains of Poestenkill, NY. My favorite tool was a small barbed pitchfork on a medium sized handle hunting only from shore. Took me all summer to fill a freezer bag, but was always worth it. Y’all make a great team. Keep on it.

Awesome, I grew up running Jon boats up and down white river my whole life. As teenagers we would make week long trips from northern Indiana to southern parts. I’m now in Gosport in a lake cabin close to white river. Glad to see a local river fam!

I lived in west central Louisiana for about 7 years. Some of the best times I ever had in my life were there. My buddy who is from Hawaii, married a Cajun girl from Lafayette, and they tell everyone that their kids are “Asian Cajuns”, lol. People who have never experienced fishing or hunting alone way back in the swamp, have no idea how peaceful it is to be totally isolated from the rest of the world. No noise, no traffic, no people, just the peaceful sounds of nature. Thank you for sharing your experiences on your channel.

Peter brought me here. I'm from SC with a few Cajun friends myself, I drove a truck for 42 years I've been all over Louisiana and loved every mile of it met some fine folks eat some fine groceries.
I'm from NC, Black Gold Casino truck stop was my favorite spot when I was owner operator I-10 exit 92 good southern eating

I'm so glad y'all show the maintenance part of owning a houseboat. Most just show all the fun but there's a lot of hard work doing upkeep on these. Please do more shows showing what all is needed to keep a houseboat.

When I was a young boy, I used to catch frogs on a fishing pole using a piece of red felt. It worked good. I enjoy you guys having so much fun and also enjoy your accent.

Hurricane comes lend a helping hand, and say hello to a stranger when you pass and they are fishing. You might learn a thing or two, make a new friend, or be able to help someone in need or have someone help you when you are down on your luck.
