i'm so impressed with how dan pulled this off, when they released it i was like ya'll don't have to do this live lol its okay! but as usual he killed it
for fucking real. that note at 3:53. that's hard enough on a good day if that's the only song you're singing and he's pulling it off night after night as he alternates between harsh and clean. Dude reached another level on this album.
This song is probably one of the hardest to sing not only of the album, but that i've ever heard. Hence why it's a bit of a pitty that Dan is not able to deliver the same performance as what they recorded in studio. The switches between scream, high notes and grunting are outstanding. But if the singer is not able to reproduce it live, that's a shame (you can hear that he skept part of the lyrics)
It's pretty dangerous to attempt each live performance exactly like the record - you've got to maintain your voice for each show in the tour. What's the use if he performs a few unbelievable shows and then he has to cancel dates last minute?
He's honestly doing a stellar job with all these new songs and techniques. Considering he's alternating vocal styles a lot more AND performing them night after night while still nailing them with 95% accuracy is amazing.
He's openly said that parts of the song he can't hit, simply because 1: vocal exhaustion and most important 2: there's no where to pull a breath to push the note or hit the length of the note.
@@mvg5767 I can understand that, but from an audience perspective, i would reply "why a song is produced if not able to be played live with almost the same performance ?". For me it's similar as boy's band from the 80s which were pure studio creations and none of the singer were able to sing without proper playback. Don't get me wrong, even without being able to reproduce that track live, Daniel is still an amazing vocalist, but i don't get the point.
Do you have even the most remote idea how difficult this song would be to pull off live so soon after recording it? Would like to see you do it better before hating on them mate.
Oh, children... If your eyes can't detect someone using backing tracks, throw on Taylor Swift and enjoy. 🤣🤦 I saw this band last night and at least a dozen people around me were all pointing out the fact that he's clearly singing along to the album vocal tracks. Shame
Yeah this motherfucking singer i swear to god. Hes one of the best out there. Fucking incredible.
Security guards are so into it!
how could you not be
3:54 the OMG note!

Feels like it gets better as they go on in this tour
Agreed. Dan just finds more comfortable positions to sing and builds experience of getting those notes fast (imo).
my god men, this guy is growing up beyond his own vocals
Was there. Was amazing.
Same.
What a hell of a performance, totally epic, can't wait to see them in Argentina ❤
Dan is such a pro
This is just epic. Can't wait for Feb to see them in London. 😊😊😊😊
I love this band. Fucking amazing 👏🏼
Seeing them next Thu in Seattle can’t wait!

@@thebiglebowski5661So we can listen to it with the highest quality possible in the comfort of our homes?

@@user-ix5fb1yv4q Well that’s on you for expecting a live performance to sound identical to a studio track, of course it’s going to sound different.
