Hi Tom, thanks again for another informative video. Another way to dress up that bike of yours is to remove your two side panels and remove the black plastic on the bottom, they pop right off I think it looks way better. I believe that it is to protect the bottom of your side panels from the passenger feet scuffing.
Thanks Tom. I have a 23 CVO SG so that should work for mine too. I also bought colored spark plug wires for mine which is another somewhat economical way to add a bit of color and fairly easy to change. 👍
@@douglaskirk3036 - hey Doug - I bought them from HD. Just their orange wires. I think I may have considered the black wires with the orange lettering also.
Hello friend, Have you thought to add fan-blowers, from Harley l, l eft side of the engine ? In combination with the Ultra oil Cooler for best results through summer days.we need reliability for our expensive bikes, after all.
I had just half of a summer with my bike after I got it. I really found the water cooling to work well so I have yet to feel the need to do anything for further cooling.
@@Road_Glide_Rider Depends how hot but HD doesn’t give us oil temp unless you get your own. If the bike is not uncomfortable I would not add it but I get it.
I have a 2019 Road Glide CVO, 3,000 miles in they find a bolt from Harley in the engine and give me a whole new engine under warranty. I just bought a 2023 Street Glide CVO, 900 miles in and there is a small crack in the radiator frame and it leaks a bit and im told there is a steering module recall so they won't release the bike until Harley gives dealer the part to fix it, so I wait on Harley. I said all that to say all this.....when you spend top dollar on their most expensive bikes you damn well shouldn't have to be "dressing up" small items like this, and then to have the audacity to say "Hey look, we know that part looks like shit so we immediately made another one that looks better and you can buy it from us." Cmon Harley, do better.
Hey there is no excuse at all for what you are reporting and truly a shame. I would agree that with these new bikes Harley was not ready to make them. Many wiring and assembly line issues. But the this part and most of what is offered is really about making the bike your own and not so much a money grab.
@@ITFZone I agree with making the bike your own, we all do it. However, The small simple things like this cover should already be on it for the pricing. I get that I may STILL want to dress it up and make it my own....but then again... its such a small item and if it already looks pretty good (like the cover here does) ... I just may skip that part and let it ride and spend some money on bigger badder items.
Mmmmmmmm I don't think it looks good at all really. Reminds me of a Kuryakyn korny part. Doesn't even look like it belongs on that particular bike honestly to me. Overdone design from the older twin cams. it's good to see there is stuff out there though. I do appreciate the research.
Thanks for researching this. Just ordered for my 2024 SG!
You are most welcome! Appreciate your support of the channel!

Yes you are not the first to mention this. Appreciate the suggestion!
Thanks for the video I ordered the part and I now have it on my new 2023 cvo. Looks a lot better for sure. Thumbs 👍
Yep I am enjoying it, simple upgrade for a little fun garage time!
Thanks for educating us on the website. I think it looks better
Happy to share the method of Harley's website. Some good stuff on it if you know where to look.
I did the same thing a few weeks ago I lik the look
Yep I agree especially on a Dark Platinum bike.
Cool. That was the first part that I installed. Came right off my 2022 Lowrider S.
Hey Chris! Appreciate your comment

Love it! Agree many opt to change the wires as well.
Where did you get the colored spark plug wires? That sounds like a great idea to add some flare. Revzilla or Hogworks? ? ?

Great research Tom Thank you 🤟. All the best from Sydney Australia
Getting to be fall there, summer starting here.

I have a 2022 ultra limited. Had to buy a heel shifter! Really? Oh well. Wanna play, gotta pay 😎🇺🇸
IMO, too busy. Dave the $.
Optional for sure
Good video but it does not look better. I'll save my $$
I think it works with a Dark Platinum bike but the stock ain't bad either.

I agree that the Twin Cam era bikes for sure could be overdone and I am not a chrome cover fan, at least not yet!
