It was great to see how TES adapted and also countered what FNC were doing. In their losses TES didn't even get ideal picks, then, while FNC were putting all their focus on bot (how they were engaging and taking picks at the beginning was the best of FNC), once TES finally responded to that, it's when TES started the reserve sweep, Karsa during the whole series he was still taking more objectives and even when he started to gank more and he counter ganked, he was still getting more objectives. TES also started to remove vision from usual places FNC were putting wards. 369's Sion was so good that Sion looked like a more movable champion, Knight got outshined by the constant action at bot, but, he was still making plays here and there and contributing to his team.
After how this series started, it was a pleasure to watch how yuyanjia and JackeyLove still were able to step up after being constantly pressured and ganked the whole series with yuyanjia regaining his performance and JackeyLove baiting FNC botlane to go all in to outplay them.

Tes won as almost everyone expected before, but fnc really gave an amazing series, feel bad for fnc for stoping here. This game is critical to tes to let them see that they are not unbeatable, so they can calm and really play the game. I’m a tes fan, but huge respect for fnc. Gg
No team has looked unbeatable other than s4 with SSW. Both DWG and TES have looked beatable honestly. This is the most stacked worlds ever. Despite TES looking beatable they still showed that they were better than fnatic. That game 5 was the knockout punch. Totally destroyed fnc in 25 min.

Guys, I have no idea why many of the comments are so rude. Has the Internet changed to such a brutal place? I give my highest respect to FNC even though I am an LPL fan. They put up a great fight and gave TES a tough test. In a sense, TES should be glad because after winning in groups, this is a reminder just in time to them that, if they don't play well, they will go home.
In addition, many LPL fans love EU teams. On Chinese Internet forums, we actually pictured the possibility of 2 EU teams in the final. Of course we would like to see LPL win it all, but if FNC and G2 both reach the final, then they would have to eliminate all LPL and LCK teams. If that happens, this will probably be the most epic worlds.
Remember, losing is not the end of the world. As long as you are beaten fair and square, it only means you are not good enough. All you need to do is to become better and go for a better result next time. It is completely useless and meaningless to exchange bad words. It does nothing except showing how pathetic you are.

It's because these eu casters ar3 so biased. I get they are from eu but now they are analysts and casters for a global audience not just eu. After 2-0 they acting like it is over even made a speech about beating thier demons. And that it is over, it's 3-0. Also during broadcast 80% of the time about fnc they only talk about tes when they get kills makes plays. Also if it is such history if fnc wins why didnt they make a speech too about tew after game 4 saying a reverse sweep has never been done and tes migjt be first to do so... but nope. I bet if it was fnc on the verge of reverse sweeping they would have made another 5min segment just for them. Having people so arrogant and biased makes neutrals suppirt the other team. I was supporting GenG and FNC in this tournament, my favorites from the two regions. Was so happy when they were put in the same group never ever doubting that these two will make through and wont face each other till the finals. Felt really sad for FNC to get matched with TES in the quarters. I even chose TES in the pickems but wanted Fnatic to win. Seeing them go up 2-0, was so happy, and began questioning whether I underestimated them. But that hope was shortlived tho. Well played Fnatic, hope you come back stronger. I think they should keep the same roster. In the last two years, they have changed both mid and jg and i think one more year will help develop mid jungle synergy more. GGWP boys, thanks for giving us a banger of a series

The obsession FNC had with JackeyLove, get it, they thought by shutting him down, they'd win, but, the meta was playing JG/top and unlike the 2 previous victories of TES where 369 played so well after the laning phase and they could no longer stop him, this time he was losing his lane, they should have focused that side, even that last 2 teamfights it was FNC going all in after JackeyLove. His heavy focus at bot side was outplayed and countered when TES started the reverse swept.

This game was over from draft alone. TES smelled desperation from FNC's solo lanes. They went for comfort picks in GP and TF and legit got counter picked with sylas and vlad with two safe bot lanes on each side.
This was a ticking time bomb in favor of TES in the beginning. Nemesis needs a bigger champ pool ASAP or fnc needs a new mid.
I think FNC needs a new Mid. This problem has been around all year long. They have only done " well" in LEC because Selfmade is the best jungler in EU atm. The mid-JG potential has been hindered by Nemesis.

That's what happens when you funnel everything into one player (Rekkles). The first 2 games it worked, but after that TES just had ensure that Rekkles couldn't do anything and won the last 3 games without any real difficulties

Simon Roy is not wrong, maybe, not funnel, but, the main strategy FNC pushed it was winning through bot, their jungler spent more time there than anywhere else, constantly ganking it. You can also see once TES responded to that, FNC started to lose this series. Yes, FNC won the 2v2 in those 2 first sets, but, still, FNC plan was winning bot and shutting down TES bot laners.

Yep, RNG beat 3-1 FNC in the quarterfinals at WC 2017, as well as RNG 3-0 at MSI 2018. At WC 2013, also Royal Club beat them 3-1,
FPX 3-1 FNC at WC 2019. The only LPL team FNC beat in a Bo5, it's EDG twice, at WC 2015, 3-0 and WC 2018, 3-1.
I don't remember what the casters said here, but, I imagine it was in relation of FNC losing 2-3, in such case, they're not wrong.

Feels like it was mix of FNC getting tired, losing their edge from game 1&2, and TES stepping up over the 5 games. Cuz truth be told Jackylove was playing like shit earlier in the series.
tbh if you take a deeper look. Jackey only performed terribly in game 1? Game 2 was all the support inting. But definitely it was games 3-5 where Jackey truly stepped up to solidify TES.
Also for Jackey himself to make the call on focusing the mid/jg duo as the shotcaller of TES shows how strong his mental is against FNC constantly focusing him. Even used himself as bait at times.
It's more or less like you said, FNC pressured a lot bot, that affected JackeyLove and yuyanjia, but, after the 2 losses, they finally stayed calm and they both played as they know, FNC got beaten at their own game, when TES started to counter gank FNC in bot, while at the same time, Karsa could still keep their rhythm of taking objectives, 369 had a great performance with Sion and TES started to get better picks. TES stepped up and also, they adapted.

Here's some more stats for you. Rekkless almost always has the most gold funneled into him but is rarely the main dmg dealer.

Go watch the last minute of game 4, Rekkless hid in the back throwing Ws on Ashe. Not a single auto-attack from him. He knew they were losing so instead of trying to make something happen, he was more interested in protecting his stats. He threw 8 Ws, 1E, 1R, 0AA, ROFL
Essentially everyone (who is not support) has been able to do more with less compared to Rekkless.
5 team players make up a champion team, not a delusional, overrated player who hides behind KDA stats and is useless when the team is down in the trenches.

Yes we did watch the same games. I don't disagree Rekkles is good in lane. But the stats are accumulated over the entire game. Rekkles and hyli for sure played well and won lane during g1 and g2, but once laning phase is over, his dmg numbers drop significantly. His decision making is passive and has his kda as highest priority. In other words, he becomes incredibly gold inefficient and contributes a lot less compared to his counterpart Jacklove. You will never see rekkles have plays like jackylove, baiting the enemy team to throw everything at him and outplay.
Jacklove over the 5 game series has *+200 dmg/min* compared to rekkles. Sure, g1 and g2 where horrible, but those are data points in a data set. You need to look at the stats to reach a conclusion, otherwise I could probably argue that doublelift is contender for best ADC (I'm sure he has some highlight somewhere..)
Keep in mind Rekkles is *2nd last in dmg% and dmg/min of all ADCs* at worlds (Han Sama is last, jackylove is first). This stat is recorded for all games played at worlds till now.

Everyone hating on nemesis only having a few champs is funny. If the enemy team target bans you, then you've pretty much set more champions open for your team. Heck, being target banned at professional level play is probably enough proof that he's formidable. Welp, TES fan here though so no complaints from me. It's just quite alluring how everyone BMs nemesis like they've gotten to worlds or played professional; getting all toxic at someone who doesn't even know you.

As a customer I can find a dish to be delightful or horrendous and that will be on my personal taste, but an acclaimed gourmet's words pack more punch on the chef's career because he is well experienced and follow certain standardized criterion.
What does salary have anything to do with banning your mains lmao? We can't deny he has some spectacular mid champs, his other picks are just average. But League is a team game, if your pocket picks or hard carry champs get target banned, your team should be capable of adjusting to that, this is professional play, team work is a huge factor.
Anyway, I don't really care. If for you he threw the quarters, then I say thank you to him for letting TES get to semis. Besides, I don't even like him as a player because he's toxic as fuck.

It seemed close but not really. Once TES settled down and made adjustments it was GG. Those last three games were pretty much stomps.

Let’s be honest, TES just stopped inting and starting playing seriously. FNC were never going to recover. They are just a tier above, hence why this is the first and ONLY reverse sweep in Worlds. FNC mentality is too weak
Yeah JKL needed to just calm down and stop overextending. I think that botlane camp really threw him off. After they settled down and took it one game at a time, fnatic didn’t have a chance. The mental fortitude TES has is miles ahead of FNC. Karsa popped off while Knight totally gapped nemesis. Nemesis is useless on any champ

They're not inting, TES went to tank mode to countered the aggression of FNC. The Sion picked did stalled a lot of damage so they can fired back. JKL can't do anything in bot lane so they were using him as a bait, when FNC strikes JKL, they strike back.
so heartbroken for fnatic omg... especially considering they almost won game 4 too. i had predicted TES vs DWG finals and said TES would win. not anymore. DWG will stomp them if they make it to finals. TES too many weaknesses
Seems like Fnatic completely misread game 4. They didn't lose because of the Sion, they lost because Sion could afford to build 100% armor as they had no AP threat just Galio. If they wanted to go GP+Gragas they have 2 APs(TF+Gragas) which means Sion wouldn't be an issue unlike game 4. Vladimir on the other hand is amazing into GP and an absolute powerhouse late game. There was no need to ban Sion, instead a Vladimir ban would have made a lot more sense. Just a misreading of the draft which ultimately cost Fnatic the series which is a real shame as they really went toe to toe against the tournament favorites: TES and really should have won this series. A huge missed opportunity for them specifically and for EU as a whole.

Evelyn is really not a good pick against good team her pre6 is way too weak prob means you have to give first two objective for free if TES push lane and force it evelyn can't do anything without her passive
Eve only looked good against FREESM. Eve vs good teams like TES won’t work because they would’ve just punished her pre 6. Notice how they didn’t even ban her and dared fnc to pick it.

Nemesis shouldn't supposed to contest Knight and picked a tank instead just like in Game 1 success. Knight was fed on Zoe but he can't win at that game because FNC did damage the bot lanes. I don't why they draft him to be carry Mid, that he only need to support the bot side then win the objectives instead.
If i were coach, i will strictly picked him to Tank Mid only and not to contest Knight. It's winnable for them but in Game 3 Velkoz pick, they trolling.
@@Ampaomike but that's the thing it's hard to do anything when ur mid can't play carry champs, this was the perfect meta for fnc but they still lost they need someone who can keep up with players like knight, he just got dumpstered in mid and fell behind 20 cs almost every game...if I'm fnc i drop Nemesis and try what they did with selfmade where they got a young star

TES started the series without being ready mentally. As a whole the team was not on the same page. Individually, they played like they were doing soloque grind. The coach is responsible for not whipping the team into shape before the game. But during the series the players were responsible cause they should know that they were not ready. And they should adjust quickly in game. But they failed to adjust quickly. Jacklove's cocky play made him die many many times but he didn't adjust even in the last game. He is the worst performer in the series. They are lucky that they didn't lose the series. The team from coach on down should take the lesson of this series and seriously prepare remaining games.
They probably look down on FNC, and thought FNC is stupid. But the truth is, they are right. Stronger team can do whatever they want, and win. Not just win the series, but also make some extra money for the first two loses.
Meh.. sad sad sad. Why wouldn't nemesis flash lee's Q before it hits him? Disrespectful, and he pays for it. Why selfmade is not engaging with his team? So many kills "could've been" if he went in. Sad, but enjoyable till this last game, when there was no hope.

Last year, I predicted g2 3:1 won skt. And it came true. Korean teams have somehow struggles with eu teams especially G2 honestly.

note: i don't think selfmade misplayed his ulti if you can watch closely jackeylove did not use his E and being this low you would expect him to go back or use E after the flash to go back which would have led to him being dead instead he had the balls to come forwards, and had he used E instead of flash that barrel would hit due to E long animation.
*on 40:23 you see he used his E forward to hit the pink which i could not see but I still think after he flash many would expect him to run towards his tower..
FNC tho did a really good job to even push TES to 5th game and they tilted the fuck out of TES and jackey, they can go home proud ! GG

In the other 3 games though they didn't deserve the win anymore.
I personally cheered for Fnatic and was very impressed by their performance in the first two games completely stomping tes, but starting with game 3 this was only head-in-hands disappointment to watch
TES stomped them even harder from games 3-5. This is what happens when a great team makes adjustments and stops inting lol

Yeah fnc botlane got all the resources funneled their way and outplayed TES bot most games. Despite this who won the series? TES did. Jackeylove even played well in the last game. I think getting beaten is gonna be good for JKL. He’s gonna play much better next series

@@haochengli9445 actually the role of Hyli in FNC is different from Yuyanjia in TES. Hyli is more of a conductor or decision maker in FNC, whereas Yuyanjia has little voice of when and where and how to start a fight. So FNC can fight for the best interest of bot lanes by Hyli’s command which is also their strategy of this whole matches. Anyway I think technically Hyli did not outplayed than Yuyanjia.
