If you can't run one by yourself you're not much of a miner man really. We don't use miner helpers. That job went out when they phased out the deck miners

Somebody to spell me out to eat or go move my anchor up while I helped move the miner or keep my cable pulled out of the other front dump cars way when we cut the belt heading sometimes lol.

They are father and son. There was a show called Coal Miners a few years ago and he is an excellent miner operator. His son was learning as a helper.
I hated that show. Made West Virginia and coal miners look stupid.
