    They are father and son. There was a show called Coal Miners a few years ago and he is an excellent miner operator. His son was learning as a helper.

    If you can't run one by yourself you're not much of a miner man really. We don't use miner helpers. That job went out when they phased out the deck miners

      @@brandonfletcher2617 same can be said about any job underground. If I had a buggy helper I'd be over the moon lol. Somebody to spell me out to eat or go move my anchor up while I helped move the miner or keep my cable pulled out of the other front dump cars way when we cut the belt heading sometimes lol.
