You are attending your second year of college in the magnificent elven city of Raienath. One of your classes has been discussing the implications of soulmates. Every elf has one; it’s finding them that’s the problem. While it wasn’t the first time you’d heard about soulmates, it was the first time you’d really realized that you had one. Someone out there was destined for you!
After weeks of research, you and your friends discovered an old enchantment tucked away in a book at the library. The spell would, theoretically, teleport an item of your soulmate’s into an enchanted circle. It had never been proven, but you were determined to try.
After a few failed attempts, a tiny black book appeared in the circle. You and your friends rejoiced! But only for a moment.
Yes, you had the book, an item that belonged to your soulmate. But what good did that do you?
Enter Lost, the shop of the Finder. It was rumored that the Finder could find anyone, anything or anywhere. The only catch? The shop was in the Underground City, a place full of the most infamous of creatures… humans.
You’d seen a couple humans working as servants and mercenaries in the city, but you kept clear of them. Now you had to walk right into a nest of them! Your friends refused to accompany you, so you took a deep breath, and went alone.
You took the giant elevator at the end of the city. It was massive, a twelve feet around on either side. As you sunk beneath the ground, you saw things that could only be described as something from a strange dream. The air was dark and smoggy, as it was pumped from above ground. You squint as the smell bites your eyes. The streets are cobblestone with no clear street signs. You quickly realize that you’re in over your head.
You stumble down a couple streets, gawking openly at the humans that walk around you. They glare at you, so you keep your head down and walk on.
Finally, by sheer luck, you find a tiny shop called Lost. It’s at the end of street up against the outer wall of the city.
You put your hand in your pocket and feel the notebook comforting you.
“For my soulmate,” you whisper to give yourself courage.
And you push open the door.

well first things first. congrats on 1K subs you really earned them👏🎉
i really love to hear that you had so mich fund doing this audio and writing the description. the description was so detailed but i would still like to know why the humans are living underground, like what happened (it’s just unusual in these kind of fantasy stories that humans are treaded like that. though i don‘t mind that i‘m just curious). also the sound effects where really good even if it wasn’t much they really added nicely to the atmosphere👌. also i already can‘t wait for the second part, this will be a interesting series👏❤️

Thank you!! In this world humans are seen as inferior since they don’t live as long as elves, so they don’t live among them. The Underground was built to house them. 💕 Glad you enjoyed!!
