Motonosity you should put akrapovic exhaust on the r6 it's the best sound exhaust for her
super clean install
Motonosity Dude comone you really should do a tail tidy on the r6 Its ugly whit that tail
Motonosity can you put crash protection on dirt bikes?. And you should put one on you're Crf450
I thought you had sold the r1
I gotta admit I cried watching you drill that fairing.
it's important to cry while watching, chase.
now you know how we felt watching you with that table in your garage....
chaseontwowheels I cried watching you drill that gas tank 😂
Ridin' Dirty - Dang, rekt. Sorry, Chase. My apologies.
saw the opportunity, took the opportunity. sorry chase.
you both do great work, keep it up.
chaseontwowheels the first hole went pretty smooth, bummer about the second one!
Really thought this was going to be a fender eliminator kit. 😂
aGuy onYT that's coming out real soon. They are in production.
hey moto,
may have a tip for you!
just a little drilling trick that i have picked up from work (i work on boats).
but when drilling/holesawing into gelcoat you start off by drilling in reverse to avoid taking big chips out of the gelcoat! i have done it to a few other things similar to this video and it often makes the start of the hole cleaner and its just made it alittle less risky haha
love the videos mate!
Does it help you not cross a double yellow and hit a yellow Porsche?
matthew garland bahaha
Knee down dude, knee down.
"I believe I can fly"
I was not ready for this comment.
"I am a terrible rider."
Oh my god. I'd be so bothered with the left side. I'm too OCD for that... actually.. I suppose if I had 4 bikes, a badass jeep, and the best job imaginable I wouldn't be so protective 😅
Yeah, personally I wish I had gotten it more perfect. I was pretty excited with how the right side went and was hoping the left would go as well. It's a much tighter squeeze for that hole tho, if you know what I mean.
Motonosity no homo
DznByLimbo what kind of job does he have? I'm new to this channel
DunkinDoggies he does CZcams full time.
DznByLimbo I couldn't agree more. my OCD feels like a disease. I would have cried with that fitment!!
Drop test?
So you cut your plastics to put slider's, to protect them from being damaged? that's seems right :P
TheGrundig81 the sliders protect more vital and expensive components. Fairings are consumable.
TSTindustries Shut up bitch
i know, but you could buy more expensive sliders, that dont require you to damage the original fairings ;)
I would never do this, because it doesn't make sense and it look ugly, but it's my opinion not the law :) i would rather buy engine case protector then to use this slider's method.
LJPac , Keep playing video games and let the adults talk.
Lassi Kinnunen , Motonosity has spent enough money with us in the past that we wanted to hook him up for this new bike. He was just kind enough to mention us in the video so you guys know where to get the parts if you like them.
You should use silver or metal color swingarm spools. It is bound to be scratched each time you lift it up. Other colors will only make it easier for you to see the scratches. Just my opinion.
Great video. Just laid my bike down and totaled it because I didn't have these mods. My next bike will definitely get this done as soon as it's in my garage. Thanks!
Thats the first thing I always do to my bikes too. Great vid brother!
Do you know whether I can have a full carbon v2
"protip" when using a hole saw in fairings running it in reverse will make a cleaner cut🤙👍
I love TST Industries! Dude my 2018 MT-09 looks a thousand times better now with the fender elimination kit, the low mount license plate and led light, integrated taillights/blinkers, halo glow front turn signals, and I should’ve bought the crash protection, which I am doing that next. Thanks for the video man. Yamaha is life!
TST is awesome! I have the crash protection kit for my FZ-07. I can vouch for you that they are super easy to install.
I understand why you want to take your time, the cut looks so clean it's like it's always been here.
You do such amazing work on your bikes, hands down really good dood.
Loctite all those bolts that you replaced. You'll be surprised by how the engine vibration will loosen then up in no time.
Glad I am not the only one that was thinking it. I will be surprised if nothing falls off.
2222! Miss riding out there! Been a long while... I don't take my bike out too far anymore, she's getting up there in age! Fixing to get a new bike here soon and I'll be heading out there and heading to Marble Falls! I can't wait! Thank you for all your killer vids! All those places you go to takes me back! My riding days are not like they used to be since my girls came into this world. That vid you and chaseontwowheels did on the "first time 2 up" had me rolling!!!! Hahahaha! Congrats on the baby and I hope your wife is doing well!
those TOCE exhaust are brutal you do NOT wanna be behind a bike with one they are very hard on the ears. happy they make no cut sliders for my bmw s1000rr I would never cut the fairings way to expensive. love your channel discovered you 3 days ago by watching Jaret. you are a very down to earth guy subbed for what you do!
Man. You're professional. I really like how you taking care of your beautiful R6. One day I'll meet you in person I'll move to Austin from Washington DC. Thanks for sharing your useful videos .
Keep up the fantastic work on your videos they are amazing and congrats to you and your wife on your first child.
I did my sliders with a laser. Put the bike on the stand and take the fairing off. Shine a laser (at the exact same level) into the bolt hole. Put fairing back on and mark with a sharpie where the laser is. Pull fairing off and drill where the mark is. Goes on perfect every time.
next video how to replace your broken fairings
I literally just bought frame sliders for my first bike (ninja 300) can't wait for them to get here so I can put them on!!
Damn dude, that is clean. Very well done!
TST is literally the BEST company for these things. I have a 18’ mt09 and a 18’ R1M btw👍🏻
What a perfect job! Well done man!!!
Can't wait to get my first bike plan on getting a ninja 650 or cbr 600rr can't wait! I plan on doing this crash protection also now
Hey Motonosity, I've just recently found your page and think it's full of useful information. Especially, that I'll be getting a 17 R6 here soon. Could you tell me how long the sliders took, start to finish, to complete? You made it look so easy. :)
Also, any plans for an exhaust? Either slip-on or full? Curious as to what your thoughts are on that and what you have your eye on. I saw TST has a Toce slip for the 17 R6 but it didn't look like it'd do much in regards to the sound but I could be wrong!
Thanks!
Cool to see a motovlogger living in Austin maybe I'll catch you out riding! Keep up the vids
My crash is protection is insurance no cutting of the fairing required.
Going back to your old vids to check out your mods to the R6 as I’m getting one before they are discontinued 👌🏽
On the 17 r6 are you going to do the white and red theme? I think you should do white fairing and keep the rims blue!
Nice install. Looks clean. Too bad the one side is so close to the edge, but overall it looks great. Better for the gap to be on the bottom side than the top.
This is actually really good for beginners. Hey mate, could you please make a video of mods/items we can install for the bikes performance? Like change of CDI, quickshifter etc :) It will be great!
Hey I recently bought the same frame sliders and I was curious where you were able to print out the frame slider cut template?
heya man, let me just start off by saying im a long time huge fan! im going to be doing my CBT in summer and most likely getting a KTM exc for my first bike as we can only have a 125 when 16/17 and cant go over that until we have an actual licence. what would you recommend for me, helmet, leather and bike mods wise. im thinking a troy lee but thats about it.
Good info:) I think I'm going to add the frame sliders to my bike.
Check out a Clear 3M pre cut Vinyl wrap kit to protect the paint works like a charm :D I agree 100% protection is a must!
Hey man I was just wondering how does the throttle response on the "B-mode" compare with the standard mode? Is it like miles apart or such a small difference you don't notice it much? Im asking about this on the r6 btw.
almost dropped my r1 in the driveway yesterday so this is definatrly next on my to do list
I have the womet tech frame sliders and they are the best I've owned look great and amazing quality
What about some longer protection sliders that stick out more? Those don't look like they're as long as some others. And what about throwing another pair of long sliders somewhere towards the middle or rear of the bike frame? If possible?
that first cut was clean. I always get nervous cutting into things. it's like no turning back now haha
everytime you installing is very clean .... Awesome
should get the GB racing engine case covers ive been using them on both track and street bikes along with all the sliders. basically protection wise bike is track ready even for street use.
Perfect upto the left side , that would nag at me a bit . Still nice watching the work being done and good luck .
Can you just do a fast video about what to look for if you want to by a used motorcyckle, about 5-10 years old. Just stuff like how the tiers should look like, or the engine sounds, stuff that should of been fixed, like motor service etc. Thank you! Great vid!
Looks good...I was gonna say the left side was awful close to the edge, then you explained why. Hopefully it doesn't crack!
ive been hearing that Engine Case Sliders are a better option? any thoughts
Looks great and solid work on this video
On the wheel sliders, I noticed you slid a bolt through the axle. It would seem the axle is hollow on the R6 so you could do that.
As i can only ride 125cc my first 2 mods when i eventually get the 125cc i want are Bar End Mirrors and a louder Exhaust
Tip when using the hole saw use it in reverse it won't fray any plastic at all takes longer but insures clenner results
I just noticed he's from the suburbs of Austin where I'm from it's cool to find a CZcamsr from your area that is into the same things you are:)
Have you checked impact tec for race rails? There alot better than sliders cause if you lay it down there's nothing for cracks to catch on to and they last more than one lay down they also don't stick out a ton either they make the most low profile cages and race rails you can get probably
Is it normal to see or notice any plastic burning type of smell when you first get the bike brand new? In the initial 10-20 miles? referring to R6
you should check grave bar end its really slick looking
Hey how are you? I started watching your videos 3 days ago and I enjoy them. I live in miami and also vlog here. Great videos
Very clean install vid. 👍🏽
when will you change your exhaust? and what exhaust?
Hey bro ignition performance coil and performance cdi box makes a difference?
you destroy it to protect it
very clean work!
Do you have a quick shifter and an auto blipper on your R6?
need to invest in some of these myself to be honest! I'm a new rider, not come off yet luckily.. yet...
Hey I'm fixing to buy a 2017 yamaha zf r6 what's the difference between the yzf and the zf besides the design and the hig 5grand payout diffrence
muy buen vídeo siga así !! preciosas esas máquinas igual podrías poner endurecedor en el lado que no quedo tan bien para evitar futuras roturas con las vibración no? un abrazo
Exactly what is the point with sliders when you ruin your fairings to get them on?
Question from man to man, Is there a way to have a fuel gauge indicator for and r6 2017?
I always get nervous whenever any mod requires cutting or drilling into my baby. You did great though, looks really good, and will keep those vital parts of your bike safe if anything happens. I'm not worried about your riding ability, its the people you share the road with to worry about. Be safe out there brother, keep it on two.
Can somebody tell me the differences between the Yamaha r1,r6,r25 and r125. You can just rank from fastest to slowest
It always seems crazy to me to drill a massive hole though the fairing to protect it from getting damaged
top job on the frame sliders👌👌👌😎🙏
I regret not getting any frame sliders I was looking at frame sliders a week ago then i decided to hold off on them next day low side my bike
I'm probably just gonna buy a cage instead
Looks good dude 🤘🏻
very clean bro!
How good are those headlights in the dark?
Case covers > frame sliders. Both, ideally, (spools are awesome, but I use a cheap set of skateboard wheels and I've crash tested them. Saved my swingarm) but an aftermarket case cover set like woodcraft, protrudes enough to keep the expensive stuff from breaching and dumping oil on the road or track and ruining your weekend (or months if you're on a budget). Woodcraft case covers allowed me to continue to race, after an 80mph off camber lowside. Give the new guys a sexy video on a case cover install. At the very least, the stator cover, since that's the most vulnerable of the covers. If you've already done one and I'm talking out of my ass, then my bad. Keep em coming!
Case covers also don't have protruding bolts that could bend and snap inside the frame pass-through, that would require extraction post-crash. Definitely worth mentioning.
That s14 in the back at 1:15 👌🏽
suspension tune! best mod to do to it
where do you get the saw drill?
how many hours does it all take for you to finish that??
you can use all of that in any bike?
that left side I would have change it into a u shape to make it more clean looking so it's a nice clean finish...
Do u have tha toce mid pipe as well!??
1:05 I was not getting enough gains😂 been there 😅
That cut along the edge scared me 😭😭
Anyone tell you that you look like bear grylls? also thoughts on a grom as a first bike, for commuting to and from work, non freeway, 10 miles each way?
I have a ridiculous amount of TST parts on my bike, they're great.
when you gonna hit us up with some dad jokes?
Motonosity! How tall are you? you look pretty tall... Got a friend that rides sportbikes and he is 6foot 3 inches and has trouble with his knees on long rides, do you have the same problem?
Hey, so i've been riding for 3 years now on an old Honda xr250l dual sport. A couple weeks ago I upgraded to an 05 zx6r. I was wondering if you could make a video explaining lean angles while street riding. Some of my more experienced friends have been talking about "chicken strips" and so on. However, I don't want to risk any low side falls due to riding past my ability.
Hunter Reed chicken strips is just banter. you cannot loose chickeb strips on public roads. only track or really twistie country roads
Ended up looking sooo clean 👌
yea besides the f-ed up left fairing
+Robbert Meijrink hahahaha
Hey man when I tried to put on my shogun bar ends they put a lot of pressure on my throttle and make it hard to twist, is there a remedy for this or should I just return them
Cody Gerlecz I think on some bikes you have to open/trim up the end of the grips
I’m confused how do the front fork sliders provide protection to the bike
Suggestions: LocTite your spools in place. Real bummer to lose one, especially on a track day. For the fork, LocTite one side, it's one less thing that can come apart. Bar ends: especially on certain bikes, it is important to make sure the throttle motion is unimpeded after installation, with smooth and full rotation. Thanks!
Good points here
Wouldn't Frame Sliders damage/bend your frame, If you drop your bike while standing still?
Some matching blue case sliders
I realize TST is probably giving you some 'sponsor' support... and I respect that.
But I will add a recommendation for Puig frame sliders... they are shaped sort of like a "3D Smile" so they Slide over some of the irregular surfaces that a typical slider might catch into and flip the bike up in the air... I checked TST website in hopes they may carry Puig products...but they do not. But they are a product my Brother and I have been Very pleased with.
