I am supposed to check in 2 months, I have to be honest the photos of the grounds don't look that great to us. Look closely at the landscaping and the rooms have an Aztec rug behind the beds, how is that luxury? Worried and thinking about canceling. I don't like the review about the lond music all day and night by the beach. Looks like uncontrollable sea weed as well. Has anyone been here?

Our favorite resort! We were there in September when the hurricane ripped everything apart, so I'm very happy to see the rebuilding and upgrading! We were in the PC ocean front bungalow swim out and had the scariest night of our lives. But it hasn't stopped us, we'll be back this September! :)

The fact that all the chairs are actually far apart and they have lots of palapas makes me think this place may be worth checking out.

Loved your video. We will be there in Sept 2023. We are preferred and was wondering do all preferred rooms come with a soak tub or jacuzzi in them. We did secrets in Mexico and had one. Wish you had given a tour of the room set up. Thanks

No. Upstairs rooms have the balcony tub, swimups /ground floor rooms do not, both preferred or non. Only rooms that have an interior tub are the full suites, junior suites do not.

How did that work out? They told me if we brought our wedding certificate, there was special things they would do. Heading there next week.
@@nicholasfitchett7278 we had an ABSOLUTELY fabulous time. The resort is only about 15 to 20 minutes away from the airport, so you won’t take long getting there. All the staff is so tremendously cordial. They will assign you one person to take care of you, and ours did fantastic. The food tasted great, and the bartenders were very good. Nice size beach area for pictures and chilling in the water. You’ll be able to wade in the water pretty far out. The catamarans are free, you just go to the lifeguard and put your name on the list. They may try to give you the timeshare pitch over breakfast and offer you and your spouse a free massage for it. The timeshare offer will be very tempting because they will show you a really nice part of the resort that you’re not able to book online. My wife and I said that if we have the money, we would’ve took advantage of it. Even if you say no, you still get the massage. Just be prepared, they’re gonna keep trying to sell it to you. other than that, we really, really enjoyed ourselves.

All-inclusive resorts in the DR include restaurants and food in the package. Some resorts may have exclusive restaurants that are not included but 95% of them include it in all packages.
I have to address the "premium/top shelf" liquor comments you made, since you made a point to say that it's somehow a preferred only option which isn't accuate. It's is NOT a preferred only option at all, so please stop saying so in your videos.
It says right on the Secrets Cap Cana website that premium/top shelf liquor is available to ALL guests and is part of their "unlimited luxury" slogan. It wouldn't be unlimited luxury if only some guests had access to top shelf liquor. The lobby bar had top shelf liquor available, I saw it had many choices. And if there isn't something in stock at the lobby bar a staff member, concierge, etc will gladly get from another bar that does have it for guests.
That said, the preferred club bars are generally better stocked, but there is nothing there that other guests can't have access to. The lobby is better stocked than the main pool/beach bars. I was not preferred and had plenty of premium alcohol. Just have to ask. Please look up what it says on the website.
Premium alcohol is NOT preferred club only perk. Preferred club has its own bar, but that's it as far as bar perks.
Preferred club perks are: separate pool, separate beach area, club bar, two breakfast restaurants, butler, additional room snacks and toiletries.
Excellent clarification, I will be there next week, thought about upgrading, is it worth it?
@@lazarosanchez5314I'm on the fence myself. We already have a swim out room and they just quoted me 120 a night to upgrade to preferred club. Not sure it's worth it.
