Before I fully understood this game and about rares, I actually ended up getting a melanistic side-striped jackal. I messed up the score though because I didn’t know about zones or resetting the time, and ended up taking a running shot on it lol. Seeing the melanistic coyote reminded me of that.
To clear up the high pied vs high white, high white refers to the brightness of the white(low white is more of an off white\dirty dusty looking and high white is more of the pure clean white) and high pied refers to the amount of white on the piebald animal. Also the different scale variations are called morphs for reptiles
In ball pythons, we use the term high white to refer to an animal with a higher white ratio to normal coloration. Low white would be more pattern or normal color ratio to the amount of white. In most piebald reptiles the white will be the purest white no matter what and no visible tonal difference (pure white vs eggshell or ivory tones).
Insane. Luckily I was on a multiplayer and a coyote just walked infront of me. And it was a mela coyote! I smoked him in my lodge to this day 😂! Insane finds! Oh yea and I have a mela raccoon I’m sure u will find one soon!

Yes it will- with predators like gators where there’s often only one in a zone, deleting zones is almost unavoidable as you’re killing every animal in the zone which will delete it (even if it’s only one animal!) but that zone will come back eventually- normally very close by! I hunt a lot the Gators but i can find only olive, dark brown and sometimes piebald gators…. How u are so lucky?!

Hunt multiplayer along with your normal game. I've found maps with tons of rares, it's just tricky to know if they're using hacks or not at first.
