Moving the Joslin House

With the installation of the Mactaquac Dam in 1965-68 to flood the Wolastoq/Saint John River, select historic homes were were moved to a holding site. Once the layout of the open-air museum known as Kings Landing was determined, the homes were transported to their location. Watch this 3-minute video of the Joslin House being moved to its permanent spot.

Avec l'installation du barrage de Mactaquac en 1965-1968 pour inonder la rivière Wolastoq/Saint-Jean, certaines maisons historiques ont été déplacées vers un site de conservation. Une fois l'aménagement du musée en plein air connu sous le nom de Kings Landing déterminé, les maisons ont été transportées vers leur emplacement.
