Let me know if you get a 1st edition holo dark raichu in :) at least an 8. I recently got 3 moonbreons graded and returned. Looks like my luck isn't complete garbage after the stolen bike situation... sequential 10s.
Some sellers on TCG player are really shady. Thanks for letting me see the condition of the cards the sellers sold to you for me to decide if I should use TCG player or not.

Another Great Shiny Video!! My opinion when a seller advertises Near-Mint, to me that reflects PSA 8 standards. Maybe a PSA 7 (vintage). But if they advertise MINT, PSA 9. MINT PLUS PLUS etct that better get a PSA 10. I do agree with you on that PSA does grade vintage tougher. I send in all the time vintage and they just are tough when it's graded by the folks in NEW JERSEY's psa. When its graded by the PSA Cali folks, you tend to get better grades for vintage or modern. I have over 500 slabs, I'll tell you right now, i hate getting a tracking number from NEW JERSEY when i submit to PSA. You should test out my theory, NJ grades tougher over cali folks.

@@ShinyVert No problem. I have over 500 slabs and my toes curl when i know New Jersey PSA is grading. They are so different in their grading it is very noticeable in the results of your grades. Test the theory out. I have had at least 4 submissions come back worse from jersey than with the cali folks. No kidding.

@ShinyVert if you are completely new to riding, I recommend taking a motorcycle safety foundation course in your local area. It may seem silly but that course taught me a lot (one trick- stopping quickly without losing traction on either wheel) actually saved my life once. Plus you get to meet some other new riders in the class that may want to ride with you. You usually get a discount on insurance too for doing a msf course. Stay safe bud- I want to see more content from you :) Number one thing I can tell you in riding is that the most dangerous thing you'll come accross on the road is OTHER DRIVERS.
Ps -zx6r is a pretty powerful bike - parking lot practice is a good idea too. Get used to the power, where torque/hp kicks in. Thats gonna be a blast to ride though - just go easy on the throttle til you get it :) accidental wheelies are no fun 😂 @ShinyVert

Honestly I only shop with the perfect 5 star sellers with 50k+ sales. Tcg player has way too many shady mfs on there. Since near mint is the highest condition in the site, they should really be top tier cards. Troll and toad back in the day used to give extremely minty cards bc their highest condition is also near mint. So 90% of my purchases were MINT. Troll and toad should definitely penalize their sellers that sell HP cards as NM. It’s bs

Am I wrong for selling cards as NM?? I literally open the pack fresh, and immediately put it in a sleeve if it’s a hit…. So it’s literally pack fresh…. Might not be a psa 10 candidate but if I can’t list a card I opened 3 seconds ago from a fresh pack as NM …. Then…. Idk… I feel like that’s Pokémon’s fault not mine…. NM shouldn’t be gaurenteed psa 10 or 9 …. In my opinion atleast… idk yall tell me…
I’ve only sold a few cards on TCG but if I pull it straight from a pack and 5-10 seconds later it’s in a sleeve, and I don’t play the card game so it was never used in actual play…. Then idk how that’s NOT NM 🤷♂️

actually a really good question homie… me personally i don’t think you’re in the wrong at all… 151 had terrible print conditions/quality so cards are gonna have more whitening but pack fresh should still be near mint… feel like the only time it wouldn’t be near mint if pulled pack fresh would be like if the pack was bent or if there’s like a severe issue with the card

This is the reason why PSA 9 should be much higher price than ungraded, ungraded cards Can get from a 6 to a 9 and rarely a 10, so for me it’s insane most psa 9 cards are only like 10 bucks higher than ungraded
What are you looking at? Most ungraded are cheaper than PSA 7.

Tcgplayer sucks, dude. They have way too much faith/trust in their sellers and that mentality becomes shared with the customers, which is a bad thing. So many instances I hear of people buying singles that turn out to be in a significantly worse condition than what it is advertised as (or fake cards, which happens way too much). The solution? Every single must require a photo of the front and the back of the card. This way blind buying stops. If I'm in one of my local LGS, and an employee tells me they have a card I am looking for, I'm going to thoroughly look over and inspect the card before deciding if I am going to purchase it. Why wouldn't that logic apply to any online purchase I would potentially make? Buying sealed product on tcgplayer is fine, but singles I'll stick with eBay as most sellers include multiple photos.
very good take tbh seems like a lot of people want pics on every card and considering they HAVE pics already but don’t require it yet, seems like it would be an easy thing to implement… the only thing, maybe a price barrier? this could be really tedious for sellers on cheaper cards like v
@@ShinyVert Yeah, I get what you mean. A bulk V card requiring a pic seems bizarre. How about any card over 25 dollars would require photos to show condition and authenticity?
Only thing I recommend is buying from good rated and trusted sellers or just buy from tcg direct
