The fact that you get random attributes based on your actions and personality is such a good mechanic imo. I made a werewolf that had the high maintenance trait, so as a werewolf he automatically started with an attribute that meant he HAD to be clean, and being dirty made his fury go up. I think that's wonderfully done
Werewolves pack is OP for Rags to Riches! You can sleep on the floor, mark your territory (pee), lick yourself for hygiene & hunt for food. You can literally be homeless and rich at the same time. 😂 plus terrorizing sims for money and turning celebrities into werewolves is so entertaining.
There’s another skill on the skill tree thing where you can dig up collectibles and stuff that you can actually use to get some pretty good stuff, there’s also one that makes it so you can sniff around for stuff which you can then dig up, could be cool for another werewolves rag to riches

Stanley going to the gym to intimidate gym bros and yoga moms is a concept, I as a Sim with the gymrat trait suscribe to. Gym clothing doesnt have pockets, you'd have to intimidate the lockers 😂
I wish they'd redo how the vampires work now. The werewolfs and spellcasters not being forced to take detrimental attributes just because you've reached a certain level is so much nicer :( Vampires need so many and you don't get a choice even if you just want one ability, if you're a high level you need all the corresponding bad traits
I feel the opposite. The Sims 4 is generally too easy where as a player you always need to actively find obstacles. It wasn't like that in earlier games. The vampire weaknesses are one of the few obstacles the game throws at you. So far I think werewolves are actually even more challenging because of their temperaments, fury and rampages. Spellcasters are extremely OP and their only challenge is overcharging which is so easy to avoid. It makes them kind of boring even though I really like the idea of playing with spellcasters. I want more obstacles, not less.

Well, werewolves get the bad traits automatically and you have even less choice than with vampires. I wonder if the temperaments can be affected at least like the fame quirks are or if its completely random what you get.
@@Regina316 You can unlock 'Lunar Howl' which let's you use that once per night (outside) and then you get new random temperaments. There are positive ones as well. I started out with all negative ones, used Lunar Howl a couple of times and now I have three positive ones and one that's only mildly annoying
Playing as a werewolf in a rags to riches is super easy. Even without intimidating people you literally never have to eat real food again, can sleep wherever you want and may different things. To be honest I only have houses when my werewolf sim is ready to settle down and have children. Other than that I just stick them on an empty lot. I have way too much fun with werewolves and is by far my favorite pack of all time! I also used one of your builds that you made specifically for Moonwood Mill and fell in love with it! So far out of all the rags to riches videos this one was my favorite!
This video was very entertaining, but in my experience so far, using the digging and smelling werewolf perks is even easier and more consistent to make a ton of money. If you just spam smelling and scavenging, you can find a bunch of collectibles that sell for around 100-200 simoleons each.
If you have get together as well as this pack you could probably use it to make your own pack! Like make a werewolf club and pretend to be your own pack, I think that could be an interesting story line 💞

I am really identifying with the fury meter. It's like a werewolf uterus. You're going about your normal life, but all the while it's becoming engorged with red. Once it's full you suddenly become a rampaging monster until you have shed it all from your body. Then you can return to civility. I feel this deeply.

Well I am IMPRESSED. Of course I’m always impressed with Kayla’s takes but this time we have a Sims pack that has a STORY with INTEGRITY and quite a lot of character development opportunities. I input your code, LilSimsie, when I pre-ordered because I could see well ahead of time it was worth it. I’m an American playing in Tokyo, Japan so I waited in vain on June 16th to get and play this pack, it came something like 3am on the 17th so I was too tired to play. I knew I’d need a good 12 hours to learn this thing and my next chance was last night. I started around 7pm and wrapped up with a game save around 10am LOL. I have two main Sims, one is me and the other is my fiancé Koray. I’ve only been on the Sims for 3 months, I came from Avakin Life iOS game and before that Play Station 3 Home. So as I’m not used to autonomous randomness I have that and all aging off. It’s hard enough building this pre-marital relationship even with lots of my control, but the entry of the werewolves could definitely add the kind of tests that will make our love stronger AND get us some great Moonwood Collective friends. I really REALLY like that group leader and his philosophy. But… Koray can’t be a natural werewolf without at least one parent who is one. So I spent hours creating Koray’s father, who after only 3 hours got accepted into the Collective!! Creating a parent without actually having someone born on The Sims has made this complicated though. Also Koray’s father cannot do laundry now that he’s a werewolf!!! Why?! He beat up His son and gave him Werebies but thanks to all you guys in the Sims community I could pause my game, see what to do and save Koray. Now… the plot thickens. THIS IS SO MUCH FUN❣️❣️❣️

Kayla another way Stanley can get rich is by digging up treasure! There’s a werewolf ability I think on tier 2 that lets him smell out treasure and some of the collectibles are like 200-300 simoleans!
Stanley didn't even really need the shower, there's a perk that lets them clean up with their tongue, and it fills up the hygiene bar faster than a bath, those perks are OP. Btw you could try and do a rags to riches with the hunting and scavenging perks, and the stuff you can get from exploring the tunnels, when I saw them the first thing I thought was "Ah, this looks perfect for Stanley"
after playing in moonwood mill i realized that its such a great world for rags to riches - a lot of free utlities on lots to use! or if you want to play houseless sims. it's really a great world even if you arent a werewolf
