  • UPDATE: the mechanic who installed the engine did not fully tighten the bolt on the ground wire! ( located on the wall behind the compressor ) All of these problems were because of a ground wire that was loose. It took a month for it to fully stop working as a result of the mechanic not tightening the ground wire. It only ran right for about 3 days and then it started having problems where it kept dying. so, the lesson learned from this is that if a mechanic installs something on your car and a month later it dies maybe they forgot to tighten a ground wire!
I made this video showing all I know about my problem with my 2010 Chevrolet Equinox hoping that a genius will help me find the solution or help me with a list of items/actions to troubleshoot. New used transmission, new used engine, new starter, freshly charged battery. Over $5k within a year went into this damn car which is not paid off.

The problem was that the stupid mechanic who installed the engine failed to tighten a bolt on a ground wire which was located behind the compressor. All in all it cost me over $400! Because he didn't tighten a bolt!

Would you happen to know which ground wire and where its located?

The problem was that the mechanic who installed the engine failed to fully tighten a ground wire bolt on the body of the car behind the compressor. The compressor had to be taken off to fully tighten the ground wire bolt. That mechanic cost me over $400 to fix his stupid error of not tightening the ground wire bolt.

Check your ground check the negative wire it might not be doing a good contact with the either engine or the frame of the car go through the whole cable it's one of those two the positive or the negative cable coming from the battery

The description and title have the "solved" info - it was a loose ground wire. Behind the compressor, wasn't screwed in tight.

It's either your anti-lock or your speed sensor or what a wheel bearings is bad that'll make those two lights that came on come on believe it or not
