      PictureFit Thank you for the great video! But could you give some advice for working out alone? No one of my friends nor family want to go further than the fridge. I was 2 years in the gym which was OK, but now im going with bodyweight training and it really sucks alone. Heck, even my last 2 ex girlfriends were lazy af ._.

    *Summary:*
    1. Drink hella water 15-30 mins before eating.
    2. Don't drink your calories, esp sugary drinks. If you do, have a thick creamy protein shake.
    3. Get more protein, as you feel fuller.
    4. Remove food cues. E.g pics of food, videos of food, on social media/youtube etc
    5. Eat what you SHOULD before what you DESIRE. Aka good nutritious healthy foods first. Why? 300 cals of pizza won't make you as full as 300 cals of leafy green veggies & fruits.
    Last one - be consistent & remember it takes work. There's no quick fix.

    My tip: Eat an entire packet of no sugar added jello, it's a lot and has 20-40 calories depending on the brand (0g carbs, 4g of protein)

      Protein fluff. Whipped egg whites, add protein, blended frozen berries, and almond milk and xanthan gum. Continue whipping until suddenly you have a gallon of ~300 calories and lots of protein.
      I've also had success with plain Greek yogurt + prepared sugar free jello blended up.

    I don't have that much trouble resisting physical hunger. It's the emotional hunger that I have a hard time resisting.

    Planning has been the most useful tactic for me. Spent a few weeks getting a base by logging what I ate so I knew were I stood. Using a digital food scale helped take out most of the guess work on how many calories I was pulling in with home cooked meals. Then planning out how much and what I was going to eat (I used fitbit's food logger as a planning tool...spreadsheets work too).
    The other thing I tell myself when I do get hungry, is that I still have plenty of fat stores available and that it is OK to hold off on eating for a couple of hours. The world is not going to end if I don't respond to hunger immediately. And yes, lots of water.

    Not receiving enough mental stimulation throughout the day or being stressed can also lead to binge eating. Make sure you have a variety of activities throughout the day to keep you occupied. If stress is a daily factor consider seeking therapy so you can learn how to manage it.

    Eating healthy stuff can also help a lot with distinguishing hunger from appetite. I always keep fruit and vegetables around so when I am actually hungry I have something healthy to snack on but when I'm not I will feel like "ugh I really want to eat something" but when I walk to the fridge I realize I don't want a carrot now at all or whatever is in there so I know it's just appetite and I'm not really hungry. Recognizing this can help a lot with eating less.

    Don't let yourself become really hungry, at least for me it tends to lead to eating tons of food real fast before I even realize I ate way too much. Maybe you need to eat more often, but smaller amounts.

    A shrink once toll me "do you really had ever felt hunger?" He mean absolute lack of food starving mode. I have to admit that not, luckily not ever in my life. Thats was the moment I realized it was all in my mind and mostly I overeat for anxiety than real hunger. I thank him every time I eat now.

    How to manage hunger? Stop drinking soda drinks and eating junk food and refined carbs. Get in adequate daily protein and the hunger levels will normalize. The higher the blood sugar and insulin, the greater the hunger afterwards. The hunger also stays high if you don't get in your daily NUTRITION (meaning protein, vitamins and minerals). Just don't fill yourself with empty calories and give your body what it wants and needs.

    I am extremely impressed with your knowledge. I would be very interested in a recommended plan for diet and exercise. After watching a bunch of your videos, I'm thinking "this guy knows his stuff". I would have instantly clicked on a link and paid to be on a recommended plan where I could just be confident they follow all the stuff you recommend. Like most, I don't have a lot of time to sift through everything and develop my own plan. Going to anyway. Just wanted to through that out there. You could be adding some extra income to support your videos.

    This is kindof included in "eating" the right foods but I was always hungry and switching to keto I've found that fats fille me up a lot. Even when I don't eat lots of fat like you should on keto I can easily wait 9-10 hours until my next meal without really being hungry.

    Yes, thick beverages like smoothies do wonders for hunger. Really, a nice banana smoothie can fill me up for hours. With some protein inside, of course.

    I would only add on 5th tip to do the same thing when reaching out for a soda or some other sweetened drink, first drink a glass of water, then take a drink and actually enjoy it..

      I had the same issue, I was really skinny and didn't wanna start lifting until I gained some weight. However, I eventually just started lifting and (I assume) my hunger increased and I was able to eat more of what I already ate and got more calories that way. Not sure if you're in the same boat or not but that's what did it for me.

    I haven't touched anything that that has sugar or white flour in it for 3 months and I feel GREAT and for the first time in my life i have a real 6-pack! I really eat a lot but I just mind what I eat but that's with 5 days a week gym and 7 days cardio(mtb riding mostly). I don't calculate my calories but i know That I should eat ~3000 a day just to stay as I am now

    Hi there! Loving the info! Though I could say I can't afford these suggestions, whey protein shake and protein rich foods, cause they are too expensive.       I remember reading somewhere that, for some people, food pictures and videos can be satiating due to mirror neurons. Your brain thinks that you've already eaten and it stops urging you to go get food. Sadly, I am not one of those people. I see food and I want it now.

    Hey picture fit. My girl is trying a low carb diet. Her diet before was very poor and she wasnt working out at all. She started working out a little (won't ask more of her for now) but she complains she feels more hungry and not less, (she cut sugars almosy completely, staying with veggies and occasionally seeet potatoes which are rich in complex carbs, which to my knowledge should make you full for longer)
    what could be the cause?

      Didn't ask me, and this is old, but it may be too much of a deficit too suddenly. Alternatively, if she is starting off obese, it can be metabolic & insulin disruption from being overweight.
      Try mostly veggies, lean meat, and always choose potatoes over other carbs. Good luck.

    All of this is correct. Except, IIFYM works bro for satiation, body recomp, and weight loss. “Clean eating” is healthier, but IIFYM doesn’t mean overeating; often it’s what stops bingeing

    Say you don't feel like eating all your fruit you can just blend it all together and make it into a smoothie and drink it and you still get that same affect of fullness

    I just don’t eat breakfast or lunch and a small dinner. You get used to it. The only downside is I can’t hang out around other living beings because I go in a hungry fit of rage every day. I don’t eat, I just scream and cry.

    Another piece of advice I've heard is that if you absolutely have to give in to your craving, get the absolute best version of it that you can to truly satisfy your desire. Craving cookies? Put down the Chips Ahoy box, go to your local bakery, and buy ONE fantastic cookie. Want a burger? Skip McDonald's, go to a quality burger place, or, better yet, buy some ground beef and all the toppings you want and just make your own burger.

    Great video. I've been all over these Top 5 for consistently for over a year now. I hate plain water so flavored seltzer is by go to drink. I'd say the carbonation also helps with feeling satiated.

      Евгений Реи damn, if you’re thin you shouldn’t aim for 3300 right away. Try going like 300-500 cals above your mainenance if you’re bulking.

      Majed Al-Oskan Well as a guy who was 136lbs for all life. I do have a huge problem of being not as huge as a house. Especially after i got all that sweet 34 lbs of newby gainz. Now I hate that I look skinny. and hate that I can't overcome this awfull number 170. So yep. I eat mostly grains, meats, eggs and cottage cheese. I do must add peanut butter sandviches to my diet. Thank's for advice
