How To Cut Steel Rebar With An Angle Grinder

One of the best ways to cut steel rebar is with an angle grinder and a diamond coated abrasive blade. The diamond coating grinds through the metal as the wheel spins, so it produces a lot of sparks. Make sure to wear goggles and long sleeves because the sparks can burn. This is great to learn because rebar is essential if you're building a DIY project with concrete.
Mark the rebar with a white chalk pencil so you can see the line as you cut.
Any angle grinder size works fine but I prefer a 4 to 4 1/2 inch because its light weight and easy to use.

Rebar cutter is faster, and you don’t need power, you can even cut two at a time
