5:34 When Chief sees a dead Spartan, you can hear his heart beat, really adds to the fear the soon-to-be seen foe adds. At the start of this mod, this was the spartan who blew away an elite with a minigun, seeing this heavy weapons spartan dead before the flood encounter tell you that whatever you are around to face, killed a spartan, and you're next if you are not able to fight it off.
the marine killing the traumatized marine was like...wow
And the flood behind master chief gave me the creeps
Love this
Naw dam the fact you ain't try to save nobody makes you got that bitch in you
I get the spice girls reference from an old ass animation. There's something about Halo CE. Truly a classic
I remember it now, the punchline was "It's the spice girls...we use them for psychological warfare..." 😆
6:57
😅 I wasn't prepared for that
Noticing the invisible flood forms in that initial ambush instantly filled me with so much panic & I'm not even the one playing. The alarm ringing just amplified this feeling like you wouldn't believe
Nice to see the camo flood get given a role instead as an optional encounter for a few seconds
@romywilliam8591 it makes me sad that there was only ever 1 active came flood encounter in the entirety of Halo
I like the radio traffic while he's running for his life through all the chaos. It just adds a sense of anxiety and fear.
Loved the realism that you can spot the recently infected species because they still have armor attached to them. And the ones that have been around for a while or are in a more advanced state are those of the original Halo CE, already decomposing.
The music doesn’t really fit.
Dude omg Hidden Xperia gotta watch this
Terrified by the music - brings back good old memories of first encountering the flood!
Well portrayed horror suspense at 5:56.
An other crazy marine kille the original crazy marine ?
No what a mess ... 😂
If cheif was scared in the original, then he would be GLASSED nsanly frantick to get THE HELL OUT OF THERE!!
Forget those 2 words before frantic the have no idea how they got there
The spice girls in the cutscene killed me. If there weren’t such a crazy number of bodies on the ground, weapons and grenades, the atmosphere for this mod would actually be perfect, even better than vanilla ce. The invisible elite combat forms in the beginning and the jump scare in the cutscene were over the top.
Lol yeah. But I think over the top is the point of this mod. I'm doing a full playthrough of it
@@senaixr8319I meant in a good way though, those things should’ve been in the actual game imo. Really nice gameplay as well but I wish you explored a little more. It looks like you could have skipped the cutscene room entirely, I wonder what would happen if you went that way first, would you just skip it or would it be another encounter that would force you back into the other room. Makes me want to play it even more.
@@connorking6852 Oh yeah I actually forgot I skipped that. Usually it's because of recording issues lol
I think the Spice Girls cutscene was actually a reference to a Halo cartoon released waaaay a long time ago where the music in the cutscene was replaced with the same song heard in the video
The dead space music is heat 🔥
Yeah it made me realize how good the music with the sound design of dead space was. I mean the sound effects and music made you feel the tension and anxiety in the atmosphere. It definitely was a wonderful addition to 343 guilty spark.
I wish there was a mod that made halo ce play like FEAR
Such an incredibpe mod but for whatever reason the mod is stuck on 100% loading and it just stays there, i wonder how to fix that?
Man....all those poor marines at the end of the mission got slaughtered by the Flood even though they did kill a lot of em.
If you mean the group at the end where you're going for extraction, I believe at least some of em get rescued by Foehammer.
