I used crushed Keebler shortbread cookies with butter for the crust which I pre baked. Then I used the cheesecake filling which I then baked and then I topped the baked cheesecake with the pecan filling. This pie was gone before anyone even finished their meal for thanksgiving meal 😊. Everyone saw it and had to have a piece before it was all gone and were begging for the recipe.
Thank you this pie looks delicious. I’m going to try it for the Holidays. I have been thinking about cooking something different for a while. Love the music makes me want to get up and cook now lol.

I'm still so amazed by this recipe, even after commenting two weeks ago. It's one of the only ones where I've found the pecan pie to be on the bottom and the cheesecake encasing it overtop. If you happen to see this comment, would it be possible to do the same thing, except with a pumpkin pie? Or would a pumpkin pie filling not hold up to the heavier cheesecake? I would love to see a video or get some brief instructions on the possible pumpkin pie version of it (preferably with traditionally baking, not a no-bake version). Thanks again!
I used golden grams instead of gram crackers. Added a 4th cup of salted Carmel whiskey to the filling and added chocolate chips to the bottom of the crust. ❤
I bet it's good if u use vanilla wafers instead of graham crackers and add some white chocolate chips

I tried this recipe but when i was about to serve it couldnt cut it out. The caramel pecan pie filling at the bottom of the cheesecake was hard as a rock. Why did that happen? I did put it in the refrigerator for the cheesecake part to harden. I think the pecan pie filling on the bottom got too hard because of that. How dod i make it so the pecan filling on the bottom doeant get hard?
Why do you add parchment paper to the springform pan…..when you cut slices, the paper gets stuck to the cake.

Does the topping keep well on the cheesecake for couple of days? It seems a bit liquidy
How long is this good for once you make it?
Also do you refrigerate after you make it or just leave it out? I made one and it all stuck together like it was super hard to cut through I’m not sure why
Brown sugar hardens when it gets cold, so take it out of the refrigerator maybe like 30 -40 minutes before eating. Hopefully that will help.
