- Here's a simple guide to modding your own Raft world. There's a lot of ridiculously fun mods out there, and I've included a few that I think make for an excellent introduction into the Raft modding community.

If you have mcafee it will say that it’s a virus, but you can simply turn off real-time scanning and it should work.

Your Raft vids are so fantastic and have been so helpful. I just started raft last month and am almost done so modding and creative mode are starting to appeal to me. Thanks for all the hard work you put into you videos they are much appreciated. Also your designs are awesome my raft looks awful.

For anyone having trouble getting their game to run with the mods installed. In the modloader, go to settings and find the checkbox that says "Start Game From Steam" make sure that box is checked. My game kept crashing and I had to do this myself, but, afterward everything worked fine.

The mods aren't loading, I'm running from the mod launcher everything is up to date im not using a cracked version I'm running as administrator I have tried pressing f10 and f9 but nothing shows up and I even tried using the launch from steam option but nothing worked does someone know how to fix this?

Sadly, I'm on windows 11 and I thought it would work but it does and doesn't, let me explain. I can get the RMLauncher but, it says "Play Offline" when I do have my wi-fi on. If click play it says that I'm missing some files and it wont let me play sadly. If anyone knows how to fix this comment on this.

When I download the mod loader I will also have the worlds that I have in normal or nah, one last thing, do the achievements also count normally or they don't count ?
For the Item Spawner at 6:56 , does anyone know why the wooden structures won't show so you can snap it place, I made some solid wooden foundations and a solid wall and they are in my inventory but it won't let me place them. Am I missing something? It would be silly if you have to have wood and plastic in your inventory in order to place them. Couldn't find an answer by searching the internet.

Q: if you are playing with friends, I imagine you need to make sure that everyone has the exact same set-up?

Are the modded items visible and usable for other players who are playing exclusively vanilla?
It depends on the mod. Usually it says how compatible they are with multiplayer and whether or not every player needs to have it installed. (In my experience, most mods only require the host to have it!)
everytime i try to open the file it says "Error you may not have the appropriate permissions to access this."

Nope, it doesn't affect anything!

Assuming we both had the same exact mod list, can you still Co-op the game with it being modded?
Generally speaking, yes. There's a few mods that just don't work in multiplayer, but you can always find that information listed on the bottom of the mod's page
i cant install the mods it just gives a blank page

Yep! You can definitely unload the Item Spawner mod after filling your inventory/chests with whatever you need

I am using itemspawner, but when I got into my game, I press f8 and the spawn menu won’t come up, I can bring up the loader and console with f9 and f10, but f8 won’t work

My mod loader isn't showing up in game, and none of my loaded mods are working. All the help I have found on the web is outdated. When I try to autolaunch through the loader, the game just crashes. Please help! Edit: Nevermind, got it to work by running as administrator! Yay!

Did you make sure to launch the game from the mod loader? And it's worth double checking your keybind settings

I don't have a current fix for that exactly, but have you tried enabling it in your exact network settings?

No, you'll need to purchase it from Steam if you want to mod the game
everything works until i go to raft. its the normal screen (nevermind im stupid)

How do I get rid of permanent mods
Depends on if you want to get rid of them entirely or just disable them for a bit:
If you want to get rid of them, you'll need to access your mods folder by clicking on the "Mods Folder" section of the mod loader in the lower right side. Then simply find the mod you want to remove, and delete the file.
If you want to disable it temporarily, access the "Mods" folder the same way listed above. Then, in that folder, make a sub-folder. I call mine "Extra Mods" for organization. Then simply move the permanent mod you want to disable into that folder, and you're good to go. When you want to enable it again, just move it back out to the regular mods folder and relaunch your game.
