Khamzat was 7lbs over the weight limit here. But idk if that makes much of a difference. Being at least 15% heavier than the opponent is what would probably make a difference in a fight. But still Khamzat is damn good. All the Eastern European guys are beasts. They could be 90-400lbs and you would still see the same results.

Sometimes it takes a slow-mo replay for me to realize just how supremely skilled these people are. Like, the ability to transition and read your opponent like that with all the physical pressure of trying to play offense and defense is just unreal. Both these fighters’s ability is just amazing.

Khamzat just feels where the weight is going and follows it without compromising his own base. He lets go briefly if he can't follow without staying on top or balanced and allows their momentum to keep them from escaping while he shifts position to meet them exactly where he knows they are going to end up. It's just the magnet philosophy executed perfectly.
