link is useless, instruction is behind paywall
The instructions are 700 pages long. This offers you an assembly experience as long as the original set, for a fraction of the price of the set. If you bought the set, you certainly have some € to buy the instructions and double the play time. I don't think you will work for free, so yes, the instructions are for sale, which contributes to producing this kind of creations and instructions.
Wow, amazing job! So many functions and the whole thing looks very clean and well constructed. Love the lockable leaf springs, nice attention to detail :)
Thank you ! I wanted to create the suspensions as a nice offroad touch even if they have small travel, and wanted to propose also to lock it to prevent the wear, as many people display the model.
RacingBrick make a video buiding this Model!

I'm from Russia and I don't speak English very well but I'll try to show my admiration. This is an amazing model! It has a lot of functions. It looks very much like a real truck. I liked it very much. I subscribed ;)
Thanks !
Wow! Seems like it was designed as an original set. Everything on the build looks so clean! I love the solution on side tipping switch!
Many thanks to you Majkl, in deed the model is very functionnal !
That awkward moment when the E model is better than the actual model
uhh no
No? Unless you mean that it's better than the official b model in which case you might have a point but it's definitely not better than the a model
E
I mean i dont think it is better, but i think it is definitely in the league of actual lego technic sets! I mean if this was a lego set for £150 or £200 with powerfunctions, then i would definitely buy it!
I like how you were inspired by the 8258 for the crane. Overall pretty impressive model!
Ingenious to have one linear actuator operating two functions in different directions. Good job.
Thanks :)
Bought this for my Technic-mad son so he can get more value from the 42082 set. He has put it together in a few afternoons. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and it all works perfectly. Delighted with the quality and professionalism of this project.
Thanks for your feedback ! I am happy that you like 🙏
Great model and instruction. Modifed it here and there to improve function and make it look like a Magirus Gen 3.
Worth every cent.
The two sides tipper is awesome, congratulations dude
WOW this is a simply amazing model for such limited pices.
Thanks !
Wow, simply amazing, you earned a sub!
Thank you Jerry, I was already sub to you :)
@@Nico71Fr Wow, I feel honoured, thank you :) My next project should hopefully be finished sometime soon ;)
Yeah abo placed, and now saving money for your manual's.
To be honest, I bought this set 80% because of your MOCs.
You're C. D and E models are absolutely amazing! I think I'll download the instructions for them all and have fun with your re-inventions of this set. Great work!
Thanks !
Wow it looks so clean at the front and back!
Thank you !
That's the best alternate model of a set i've ever seen! You got a like and a sub!
Very good looking E Model and cool functions too.
Well done👍
Flipping awesome!
Un set magnifique et d’une complexité hors pair ....une tuerie 😍😍
Merci à toi. Pour ma part c’est le 1er mais sûrement pas le dernier de tes réalisations
Love this!
I loved your c model but this is pretty awsome i love it even more ^^ by far my favorite alternate model ever:) very good job
WOAH!! THE MOST AMAZING THING TO ME IS THE DIFFERENT DUMP MODES!! o.0
Time to repart out my 42082. :)
Mind Blowing!
It’s amazing
wow, what a fine moc! 🧡😎👍I have buyed the #42082 today and will build this cool truck. Really great work. Thank you for this. 👌
Thank you ! If you want other alternate instructions for the 42082, I offer bundle pack with discount on my website :-)
Great moc. love it.
Well done!
Pretty awesome.
Crazy!
It looks really nice! Good Job😉😉
Klasse !!!
Amazing work man!
This is way better than the A model , what a pity for me to not have a 42082 😂 , this deserves to be built !!!!
Than the B model maybe, but nowhere near A. The A model was one of the greater sets Lego has ever released and pretty much worth the price tag.
This is great, don't get me wrong, but the A model is better.
@@M3dicayne you are not very demanding if you find the 42082 to be "the greater sets Lego has ever released".
Man why are all of the MOCs of this set so good!? I just want to buy it 10 times only to build them.
Thanks !
great constructions! its fun to build and the truck has an awesome look. one of the coolest builds i've ever had!!
thank you !
Just found your channel a few days ago. I really enjoy seeing your process and learning more about building with Technic. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and creativity!
You're welcome !
Nice!!
Good stuff!
Nice
Dang, very impressive. Much better than the official one :)
. I‘ve all three versions of your instructions to build the alternate versions of 42082. But this one may be the most playable. Great work, thanks a lot 🙏😎
Thank you for your purchase ! I am happy that you liked the model !
Tolles Modell 👍
Magnifique. L'esthétique est super réussie. Il est racé, ca a de la gueule. Et beaucoup de soucis du détail. Très très réussi ! Bravo.
Merci à toi !
Guess I have to add the 42082 to my list. Amazing job
42082 is a fantastic set and at a fair price considering the amount of parts !
I love your creations so much!
Thanks ! Considering subscribe if you want to follow my lego work :)
Looks Amazing!
You changed your profile picture, I'm building a pneumatic car today
@@materdoit5667 Yes. Nice Let me know how it goes.
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop ok
nice.
Ouais j'aime bien
I like it👍
Thanks !
This is so coooooooool
That's one nice palfinger crane
It looks as well as works better than the A-model. Respect!
Thanks !
Absolutely awesome design! I immediatelly ordered a second 42082 set as I could not muster the will, energy and time to disassemble my Model A....
Thanks !
Classe
Bravo pour le système de levé de plateau il est énorme 👏👏
Merci ! Ca a été une composantes essentiel de la fonction, je voulais reproduire les deux modes.
Thanks! I was about to buy 42110 but this will be much more interesting to build!
Thank you, word appreciated :)
Thanks
very nice
Thanks ! Considering subscribe if you like :)
Goddamn you Nico...It is your third alternative model for this set and again I am almost forced to buy it! It looks so impressive! :)
Haha many thanks for supporting my work !
Damon this looks way better than the a or b model
Perfect B model
Thanks, comment appreciated, especially coming from you :)
I already bought the instructions for the wheel loader and the heavy forklift. maybe i get myself two more 42082 and the instruction for the truck as well :'D
Круто
chapeau!
Merci Frédéric !
wow! fantastic!
it is not possible to compare the E and D model with the "A" model.
"A" model from originaly Lego was good for the present time, Lego creates and sells models.
But your D and E model really kick it hard out of the race!
I run out of space and get in really trouble now with all this Lego I have here. But these D and E models would be really worth to build and add them to the collection!
Amazing!
Thanks :)
I have seen your engine vids and i have a challenge for u.... make a real combustion engine with combustion (obiously), id like a lot to see something like that!
This is something what i expect... as 40 or 30 years lego technic instead ..42070^^ i wish it had springs than it would be perfect
Epic job! I am working on one alternate model from this set too!
I see it, it is very nice looking and great use of several iconic part of the landrover !
@@Nico71Fr yes but I mean that I have incoming alternate from set 42082 :)
@@DyensCreations Ooh, I can't wait to see it !
Hello, I'm interested in buying your instructions for MOC sets (Off road truck, Wheel Loader, Heavy Forklift Truck) from original 42082 set.
Is there any extra parts needed or original set covers everything? Thanx
Hello, You do not need any extra parts, only a 42082 LEGO Technic Set. You can get 20% discount on the entire cart if you buy the PDF Instructions on my shop : www.nico71.fr/product-category/alternate/
Good job! Despite having limited pieces to use for this alternative build, you’ve made a clean and functional one. Just a quick question, how many percent of pieces did you use from the actual set?
Thanks for the comment ! I use 2697 parts on the 4056 of the original set, so approax 66% (which seems low despite that the model is big !)
@@Nico71Fr wow!
Amazing!!!!
It works better than Arocs and Unimog! You make me feel ashamed for my few simple models...
There is no shame at all, we are all builders :)
Great b Modell better than the original
Amazing what you can do with such limited parts
Thanks you :)
@@Nico71Fr hi Nico...could you please tell me the dimensions of the Set??...kind regards
@@jakobhassler6139 54cm (L) 28cm (H) 22cm (W)
Does it need a clutch gear somewhere as I heard clicks at 5:55?
What you heard is the internal clutch of the linear actuator so no need to put an other.
Better than the original lego set
Thanks, well appreciated :)
I kind of like this more than the crane
Thanks :)
Any chance we could get an alternate model for the 42100 set? (I know its pieces probably aren’t as versatile as this one but I would love to see it as it has no B model)
Yes it comes soon !
Great c model as always.
Is the arm except for a few small changes because of the missing parts of the 8258?
Thanks ! Yes indeed it is adapted to the 42082 parts which explains the changes :-)
Wow this is better than the A model !!!
How long until the instructions are finished?
It will be released tomorrow (23 april) at 1pm GMT +2
I love it! You should geht hired from LEGO to build all those b-models. It looks like you are doing a much better job than them.
Thanks ! I am not sure that I want to work for lego and live in Billund. The B model for lego is always a question of time, added value, price, profit etc, sometimes it doesn't work to do, and sometime yes.
@@Nico71Fr Yeah true. How do you build c-models? Do just put all of the sets pieces on the table and start building or do you build like normal and than try to replace the parts you used with those from the set?
@@TechnicDragon I sort all the part of the original sets and started building in real. I always started by the more sensible parts in the project, not necessary the most difficult. For this one, I started by validated the design and crane in red because the inventory was limited, and then I work on the functions.
Что тут сказать, молодец!

Is the boom similar builded like from 8258?
Yes, it is a modified smaller version of the 8258 to adapt the functions and the parts of the 42082.
Salut Nico, How are you ? joli moc avec en particulier le repliage de la grue et la benne à double bascule. Bien joué.
Merci ! (désolé pour la réponse tardive)
I need this
Finally i can recycle my 42082
You can ever recycle 3 time, for the 3 alternate model I have built ^^
Very nice, but why didn't you use the Rope for a winch or for the manipularor crane?
I have run out of gearing and space to put in the chassis for a front winch (and the rope can not pass through the turntable for a boom winch).
@@Nico71Fr ok, understood....however you did an excellent job👍😉
You can add it on your own thats lego
@@Erik-pj9ms Yes, the original model has one but I have not succeeded to implement in correct way of building.
Damn nice, fits in size with unimog does it?
Thanks ! yes it is about the same size in lenght, not in scale as mine have smaller cabin compared to the unimog.
Well done, Nico. Just one thing. Aren't you worried the 8 and 24 tooth gears at the bottom can fall out?
The 8t can't fall since it's on a axle with "stop", but the 24t can
Thank you ! The 24t gear did not slip even with torque but the 8t yes at the beginning, that is why I have locked it with 8L axle with stop :)
How many lego parts it use???
2697 parts
I had the same idea.😅
I think to build this nice Modell of an Unimog 🤤 But It is only with the Parts of the big Red Crane 42082 ? 🤨
im starting to realize why you have 48k another sub for you my friend and keep up the amazing work!
can you try making B C E models for lego technic 42100 the industrial mining excavator?
Thanks ! I will publish soon a model for this one 😀
This really reminds of the uninog u400, I'm curious how it compares in size to that.
It is about the same size but different scale, therefore the lenght is about the same but the unimog is taller.
@@Nico71Fr cool, thanks! The leaf spring suspension is really awesome, I've never seen that in a moc before.
Wow! Im surprise your not done in 42082 yet
Can you make Reach stacker next time? Tnx
I will think about but for now, I will take a break of this lego set ^^
It looks really great. What Is the size (l x p x h)? I'd like to see if It would fit my shelf in this model.
Thanks ! 53cm (L) x 22.5cm (W) x 28cm (H)
Looks like a copy of GAZ Sadko 4x4 truck
Yes, is has been one of my inspiration :)
I think like that when I see it. Great job.
@@Nico71Fr I think like that when I see it. Great job.
The 8258 crane!
indeed, a modified and smaller one :)

Hi can you please make a plane from this set? like douglas or cargo plane.
I will think about it, thank you for the idea :)
