Am I the only one who noticed they changed the part that originally went "everyone loves a Slinky" to "everyone knows it's Slinky"? the company's lawyers must have made them change the lyrics because one person didn't love Slinky and filed a lawsuit, lol.
Ever further back than the 80s, this was entertaining: Be at the top of the steps, tip it over and it goes down reforming itself each time. Have 2 or more people at the top and do races. Interesting thing is: this was either a single piece of metal or plastic coiled into the shape of a spring. Too bad we've gotten spoiled with access to the internet pretty much anywhere we go. 😐
I was born in 1984 and I still remember these. I always liked the metal slinkies better. The plastic ones sucked. I was never able to get the plastic ones to walk down the stairs. Only the metal ones.
